Hibbert to Cats, Welcome to bobcatsPlanet!!!
After Oden and Durant, Roy Hibbert is at the top of my list. I liked what I saw in his matchup with Oden and I think that he would fit in great with the Bobcats.
I also agree with you on Thabeet, Hes way too raw to invest a first round pick on.

Who the fuck is Dominic Mcguire
Bumpus i like Hibbert too but i think hes gome at the five pick . Who do we pick then . Thabeet and Hayes either one is a gamble its no other bigs i feel good about except big baby.
Thanks Ammofan!
With Brandon Wright all but confirmed NBAdraft.net has Hibbert sliding to us at 8 that would be a ideal situation with Durant and Oden more than likely being out of reach. With the second round pick I hope we pick up a SG/PG I wouldn't mind picking up Law or Marcus Williams.

o god. what is wrong the bobcats coaching staff. it seems like every year they are in love with forwards. according to the bobcats website, it looks like they're very interested in joakim noah. WHY WHY WHY?! i hope to god they dont draft him. on top of that on the poll, they are asking for suggestions, all of them are small forwards and power forwards.
I understand filling a backup spot for sean may's random injuries to sub for okafor is necessary but go to the spot that we needed to fill 3 years ago. SG!! Shooting Guard. We needed one for 2 years now to have a decent lineup and they're still looking for Power Fowards and Small Forwards. SF is pretty much set. Gerald Wallace (keeps the team together) and Adam Morrison (you drafted him, he's an awesome shooter) and Matt Carroll to side in and rotate a couple (awesome 6th man). I know Matt Carroll plays both SG and SF but he does better like Jerry Stackhouse coming off the bench.
Although it would be nice to get Yi and have him replace Primoz (primoz let us down after the first year (he did well that year) but now he's mediocre) we need scorers. With 2 first round picks in this years' draft, I truly hope the bobcats make the right choice this year.
I remember our 1st year we had like 5 point guards, 2nd year we had 5 power forwards, 3rd year alot of small forwards (4 i think) dont ruin it again bobcats
I can see your point on that one, and I am defanitely 400% against drafting Noah bc he is basically Anderson Verajao v.2 (sp?). Now if Yi were to fall to us, I think we have to take him, he would be a perfect fit to go next to Meka on the front court and would give us a bonafide low post threat and a big that can also step out and knock down the jumper. He, Horford, and Wright, are the 3 bigs (outside Oden) that I would take if they fell to us. I would take them simply bc Big men are more important than guards and this draft will also have a lot of good shooting guards available at 22, guys like possibly Thad Young, Nick young, Jarvis Crittenton, Stuckey, Bellinelli, Marcus Williams, etc... there are plenty of very good scoring guards that have the possibility of being available at 22.
There are about 30 players supposed to go in the top 20... you do the math.
This is just my take on who the Bobcats should draft if they end up keeping their two first round picks. If they still want to become a crazy offensive team like they have been talking about recently, they should use their #8 for Hawes and #22 for the best shooting guard available.
With a line-up:
Hawes
Okafor
Wallace
Felton
N. Young / Fernandez / Affalo / etc...
...the Bobcats could be up with the Suns in the highest points per game average especially if the picks follow though and Felton & Morrison improve their FG%. Though I don't know about the defense.
And if they want to pursue being a crazy defensive team I think the should go after Corey Brewer with the #8 and Sean Williams with the #22.
With a line-up:
Williams
Okafor
Wallace
Felton
Brewer
....whose going to score on us with 3 big time shot-blockers on the inside and Corey Brewer on the perimeter? But then again I don't know about the offense.
So in my opinion I think they should, if they do not end up trading their two first round picks, go after a great PF with the #8 such as Brandon Wright and use the #22 for the best SG available.
And the 2007/08 starting line-up:
Okafor
Wright
Wallace
Felton
N. Young / Fernandez / Affalo / etc...
I would be happy with any of those line-ups really. I just hope that the Bobcats will not draft a SF or a PG that wouldn't be able to play PF or SG, even if it's the BPA.
Look at the most recent updating mock on NBAdraft.net has us taking B.Wright at 8 and Cook at 22.
