Default Kevin Durant or Greg Oden

I still choose Oden. If they get Durant, he should be allowed to play the "Small Forward" position, and then the Bobcats should probably get rid of Adam Morrison and Gerald Wallace. Neither wants to be a back up, and neither should be playing Shooting Guard.

If they select Oden, then they should still get rid of either Gerald Wallace or Adam Morrison and keep the other, and then go out and get a "true" Shooting Guard in free agency. They don't need all of these 6'8 guys. Go out and get JR Smith from Denver.

    Felton
    Smith
    Wallace or Morrison
    Okafor
    Oden (my pick)

    Felton
    Smith
    Durant
    May
    Okafor

I would love to get durant, i think he is more talented and has a higher ceiling than oden does. i think durant could turn out to be like a tracy mcgrady or kobe bryant type player. but we already have walllace and morrison.

oden will be very good as well. i think he could be like david robinson or something like that. he would replace primoz, which we need to do. so i think that oden would be better for the bobcats.

but durant will have a better career than oden and win a scoring title or 2

I was really close to saying Durant. Really close. 51% of my brain says Oden while the other 49% screams at me "LOOK AT THOSE STATS FOOL!!!! TAKE DURANT!!"

The thing that makes me decide on Oden is imagining him playing next to Emeka Okafor. We could have one of the most dominat frontcourts defensively for the next 10 years.

    Its close though.

It's really close Zig but I'm going with Durant his offensive skills is way more seasoned than Gregs I just love his quick release when he shoots his jumper and just imagine when his body starts to fill out he's only 18 he's going to dominate in the league. While the idea of playing Oden and Emeka together is tempted getting a possible Chris Bosh type player that could be a superstar in the NBA is tempted as well. I see a lot from Durant that I like more than what I've seen from Oden that's my pick.

I hear you on that, Durant could wind up being insanely good, But with Oden and Okafor we'd have two defensive monsters at the 4 & 5 along with Crash at the 3 ( if he re-signs ) and we could wreak havoc defensively on other teams for the next 10 years.

But if we wound up with Durant I wouldn't shed any tears.

Greg Oden. hes pullin down double doubles every night and he still only has the use of one hand. thats fairly incredible in its own right.

i dont know a lot about durant besides there a lot of excitement around him. and ive seen him play a few times and im impressed... would not hate him being drafted even in the slightest.

but if we somehow get the number one seed. and its between these two. im taking oden. 7 foot 1. defensive monster, with a lot of offensive potential under the right tutelage.

those things dont come around often and when they do your stupid not to take them. Not to mention he fits into our team system perfectly. and i mean perfectly.

our starting lineup.... Felton, Morrison, Crash, Okafor and Oden.

thats at the very least 3rd seed in the eastern conference right now.

with durant your causing a log jam and a lot of personell problems

Felton, Morrison, Durant, Crash and Oakafor. ill take either scenario really.... Oden just makes more sense.... lets just hope we get to make that decision.

Assuming we got either one of them, I'd be happy.

Durant COULD play the 2 spot, and I would be content with that. If not, I would be happy with trading away morrison, but not Crash assuming he resigns. Durant should be a 2 with us - his versatility allows it.

I would still prefer Oden though. Oden is only 18 as well and he's already got a nba body that would dominate. Shooters come and go, but big men like this are once in a decade. Okafor and Oden? That goes with Robinson and Duncan.

Durant may be able to carry the team some, but Shaq was the one that continuously wins championships wherever he goes.

Drools at the thought of a Robinson / Duncan type of frontcourt.

Another thing of note, Oden can carry a team when he's 100%, but it's shown that Durant, no matter how good of a game he has, can't carry his stellar games over to victories.

Against top competition he has a good game, but he doesn't make the team better. Oden makes his team better. Does anyone deny that Ohio State would not have lost to UNC earlier in the season had Oden played? The same statement can be made that if Oden wasn't around, Ohio State would NEVER be 21-3 this year and ranked #3.

Oden, you fellas have already hit all the reasons. Oden and Oak, Tim and David. That would be a hell of a combo down load on D. It would also bring people to the seats, I can't sit through an NBA game now without going nuts that NOBODY on ANY team is playing Defense on even half of the posesitons. This was at least one guy could take a series off and leave us with 2 of the best defenders still playing tuff, with wallace in the mix.
