With last year's draft being so weak, I still think Adam was a good pick. You could make an argument that Brandon Roy was a better pick, but hes had his own injury issues which in my opinion raise a red flag
There are things that Adam needs to improve on, namely defense, ball handling and getting physically stronger, but areas that I've been pleasantly surprised with are his passing and his ability to get his shot off whenever he wants it. Right now, the shots aren't dropping, but that will come in time.
I also believe that Adam in particular and some of the other players in general will show significant improvement once we get better coaching... Honestly, who has Bernie Bickerstaff and the rest of his staff really "coached up" and improved over the last 3 seasons?
I still think he was a good pick, but he can't excel in this environment of erratic minutes and crappy coaching.
