If you was Jordan and could make any changes wiith this basketball team you wanted [ being realistic] what changes would you make.

In the first 30 seconds, I'd move Bernie solely to GM and get on the phone to either Paul Silas or Doug Collins.

Then I'd trade BK for whatever I could and let Ray know that he has the keys to the car and this is his team to run.

I'd offer Emeka a max deal.

I'd offer Crash a new deal... Not a max deal though, because he is too injury prone.

I would get on the phone with other GMs to see if any of them were willing to sell their 1st round picks like the Suns did in last year's draft.

I would make more public appearances to try to raise excitement about this franchise.

Instead of putting Charles Oakley in the front office, I'd mke him a big man's coach for our team

This is just ball park but Felton by him self had like 13 wins. The backcourt of B.K. and Felton playing the 2 got about the other 5 wins .
It kinda suonds Felton done his job and would only get better with time.

Now SLAM if you was JORDON what would you do to make the team better.
Even get rid of Felton if you want . You smart and know ball . I would like to hear your and the others ideas.

I'd give 10-11 millions per year contract extension to Emeka, not max but I'd everything possible to keep him at the club. I'd also keep Gerald about 7-8 per year contract. And I'd try to keep Matt Carroll for about 3-4 per year for long term.

I'd try to trade Brevin if not I wouldn't use his team option and never let him come back. If Primoz opts out, I'd also not sign him again.

If a good offer comes, I'd trade May or Morrison(or both), not Felts for now.

In offseason I'D try to land Vince Carter or Rashard Lewis. If not resigns, I'd fire Bernie or force him to go. I believe it's too late to change coach for this season.

He's had them for the last 2 months and has been less than impressive

8-7 in January ( BK has never had a month like that )
1-2 in January before BK came back for a grand total of 9-9.
Brevin has never had a run like that as the starting point guard of the Bobcats.

What do you see about Ray that doesn't suit you?

i'm not a huge ray felton fan, but i'm not a hater either...but he probably played as little a role as possible in january as far as the team playing and winning. most of the wins i would contribute to wallace (monster), okafor (mr. defense), and even carroll (who is better than i thought). felton played OK, but his shooting was still mediocre for the entire month of january and his decision making was so-so at times. if the offense worked better it was because he was passing the ball just to get it out of his hands. that is one thing i notice about ray is that he seems more willing to work the ball around the team and get everybody touches. but he still has moments where he decides "ok my turn to shoot" and throws up a brick.

while im not quite sold on Ray felton, i do think hes a better long term option than brevin knight.

Its all about coaching right now. we need a coach to prevent ray from shooting and taking terrible shots. someone who can work up an offensive set that moves the ball and gets it to Emeka every time down. (if possible obviously.)

Move Bernie up to the GM office permanently. Work with him to bring in a coaching staff that fits this teams current attititude and philosophy.

Then trade Brevin, Ely and Primoz for whatever solid SG or PG we could get. of course id keep Ely or Primoz if we cant trade for a better C or draft a better C.
