When I first heard this I thought this had to be a joke but then I saw him last night in that skill contest he looked like a basketball player, it looks like he has been training for this.
Scottie Pippen at 41 years old, is trying to make a comeback into the NBA. Hes told the media that ideally he'd like to join up with the Miami Heat and play about 15 minutes a game.
Is he insane? Or do you think that he could still get the job done at 41?

He decreased his "already slim" chances of coming back after he shot poorly from downtown in shooting stars IMO.

You're right. He didn't shoot the ball well at all. The thing that makes me think that he cannot do it is that he was a player that relied a lot on his quickness and athleticism. And I'm sure that the athleticism that he had at 41 is a long way from what he had just a few years go at 36... And its light years away from the level that it was at 31.Originally Posted by tamburello

RIP Michael Jackson & Steve McNair
well he can still play somewhat but i don't see why a contending team would want a 41 year old to play for them even in limited minutes. dont ruin your legacy scottie
he wants to join the heat so he can try to leech a ring from them. thats what everybody is doing. "oh i wanna join the heat to make it better" thats not true. they want to join miami to get a free easy ring from dwayne wade.
anyways i doubt anyone will pick him up and i pray to god michael jordan doesnt feel sorry for him and try to put him here.
Oops. It had never come to my mind before. Unfortunately, it may be possible. Jordan showed in multiple occasions that he's a bad executive and slam-dunk judge.Originally Posted by DaFlameking

if he does come here... it will be just another intance in a long line of instances where Scottie Pippen is riding Michael Jordans coattails.
Top 50 NBA players my ass.
ugh....just what we need. Another washed up player still trying to play.
If Jerry Rice couldn't have success, I know Scottie Pippen surely wouldn't.
Who the fuck is Dominic Mcguire
