Really puts things in perpective. I think he will be a really solid player once his shots start falling. It's not like he doesn't get good looks. I have been really impressed with his passing ability. He is a little more aggressive on the boards lately and his defense....well hopefully his shots will start falling.

I agree with you that I believe that Adam is going to be a solid player. Next year with better coaching and consistent minutes we should see the true Adam.

other than that... hes not a disappointment i dont think... i feel like hes growing quickly in the new game. and you cannot ignore the fact that he is in his first year at a new level... and is being guarded by the teams best defender each game. says a lot that hes even averaging 13 a game.

i also liked the 20 - 20 point games and one of 3 to have a 30 point game. says a lot that he has the potential to blow up.

That's an insult to both EO50 and Crash and basically what he is saying is that he needs someone else to be the focal point for him to be any good? I thought he was the guy who could create his own shots and offensivley take over a game??

Some people think I've been awful, but then I look at some of the other rookies' numbers and guys are averaging seven or eight points and people say they're doing better than me.

That's because no other rookie (apart from Roy) has been given the green light and opportunities that you have been given.

The big difference is that Roy has been able to stand and deliver.

I agree with some of what you're saying Slam, but heres my take on it.
Currently Emeka is NOT a double team center, but the reason that he isn't is because the coaching staff doesn't run any plays through him. If I have to hear the Bobcats game announcers brag one more time about how Emeka gets all of his points without plays being run through him, I'll scream. If the coaching staff had the common sense to force the offense through Emeka ( the guy thats shooting 54% by the way ) It would make everyone's life easier, Adam's included.
Bickerstaff's coaching has been so consistently horrific thats hard for me to evaluate how good or bad any of our players are ( Emeka and Crash excluded ).

I disagree. I think Morrison will be abused on a nightly basis and won't average more then 15 PPG in his career. But he's young and rook and HOPEFULLY things can change.

i dont like that adam gives me the sense that he isnt trying this year... because he knows we arent good and cant win. i dont like a defeatist attitude. i think hes got it man. and i think and or hope that he shows it next year.

That's not true. I loved watching him at Zag.

But school ball and the NBA are two very different beasts.

He has to try harder in the NBA and I don't know if he can do that. If he doesn't try in his rookie year when he's meant to be impressing everyone, when will he try?
