There'd be no way that Minnesota would let Garnett go without us losing Okafor, Crash, or Raymond, or a combo of those players with draft picks thrown in galore too.
I think Garnett wouldn't want to come here, and would want a more win it all now situation.
On another note, if we trade one of our young guns/draft picks, Garnett will be 31 in March. Give that 4 years, and Okafor, Crash, AMMO, Raymond, And our draft picks will be entering their probable prime. Garnett will then be 35, and while he's impressive on a lack of injury history, he's put on some mileage.
I love the guy, would bring fans and might help us get 75% of the way, but by the time we're built to go 100% of the way Garnett will probably be broken down, wearing down, or not the dominant force he was when brought in here.
Love the guy, just too much to lose for the future.
Garnett can't carry a team in his prime, he can't carry this team @ age 31 giving up the players we'd give to trade him.
