Default Celtics willing to trade #5 for veteran help.

    What would it take?

I'd think they'd consider Brevin as part of a veteran package, along with either the #8 and/or the #22, but do you think we'll have any shot at that?

i think no, they wouldn't bite that. they've got a plethora of PGs on their roster [rondo, west, telfair(though definitely he wouldn't be there next year), and ray]. other than derek, brevin and harrington, we don't really have guys here that are veterans per se.

I'm not a big one on trade scenarios, but if we offered Brevin, Morrison and the #22 pick with maybe a future 2nd rounder they might listen? Those would be two starters for them, a possible third with the #22 and we get the #5 and maybe someone like Dalonte West, then take a big at #5, and our future 2 guard at #8

not going to happen. we're dreaming here. We don't have anybody on our team that we would let go of that they want. They might take Morrison and some of us are willing to part with him(me not being one of them). Don't think we have a vetran on the team they'd want. I don't want to get rid of our young guys.
