Never posted here before, but i have come by many times to read posts and what not, I found this today and thought that you guys deserved to read it so i registered. Anyway this may or may not be true but it sounds very real and this guy really has no reason to lie. Its kinda long but i'm sure you will enjoy it!

I usually never post on this board but this was an amazing experience and I am sure you might enjoy the news or the "soft" talk.

I live about 5 mins away from Disney's Wide World of Sports (Where the draft camp is being held) and I work at a Steakhouse where Bobcats mgmt. was.

Anyway, the first two people to show up we're Jordan and his old college roomate Buzz Peterson. I was pretty shocked and in awe. I don't know to what capacity Buzz has to the Bobcats except for the friendship between him and Jordan. Then came Sam Vincent, Bob Johnson, Bernie Bickerstaff, and could've possibly been Jordan's son Jeffrey, and I'm assuming scouts because of the Bobcats polo's they we're wearing.

Then at the other table was Byron Scott and two other men (Likely his assistants) .

I thought this was very strange because two diff. organizations in the same room.

I was in the room practically the whole time.

There was alot of laughter, cursing, and talking about the past between both tables. At one point, both tables we're talking smack about Doc Rivers on how he coached (Which was hilarious)...

Then they went on to talk about how Atlanta is completely dumbfounded and will probably go after "another 6'8'' foward"...

After an hour and half Byron Scott and his two assistants then left. (This is where it gets interesting)

Please don't flame me for this or question me. I'm a fan who has no sources but my ears and my eyes...

Back to the dinner...

The majority of the time MJ and Bernie talked out loud. (Usually both we're on the same page with things but sometimes would disagree.

The things I heard. (I apologize if this is somewhat scattered but I'm going into detail as best as I can.

Call it "soft talk" or anything but these ideas came from MJ and Bernie.

First thing I heard was Charlotte's main objective is to draft or sign a low post player who can score and play defense.

This is where Darko Milicic's name came up several times. Jordan harped on him a couple times and they have the $ to throw at him but it seemed Bernie is a bit conservative on that matter and would rather go for a "off the dribble" kind of guy like a Rashard Lewis.

It gets interesting here.

The topic of KG came.

Apparently there is or was a deal on the table or possibly in the works for KG.

I can tell you Bernie is high on KG while Jordan thinks the opposite. Apparently in order to get KG Charlotte would have to absorb the contracts of Troy Hudson and Trenton Hassell and throw both 1st's (this year) and next along with Adam Morrison. ( I didn't hear who else would be thrown in, but KG was a long topic of discussion. )

Jordan is worried about the extension for KG and he let it be known that he thinks KG has a few years in him at most. (Which he does, he's been in the league since 95'.) He also is worried if the deal we're to go down, the Bobcats wouldn't have enough of a supporting cast because Minnesota wants too much or he isn't confident in the young cast he has now.

I can tell you Charlotte and Philly have had discussions according to MJ himself about Andre Miller too. Dalembert's name came up as well also.
They are high on getting another BIG so it made sense when they we're talking about a deal like that. Like it is for most exec's you want talent, you're going to have to take back salary most of the time and Bernie seems reluctant to do that. (Another reason for that also could've been Bob Johnson sitting right next to him; )

Those are the players they're targeting for trades I'm assuming.

Now a different topic consists of current Bobcat players and extensions...

This is pretty funny because MJ would say "x player is an esay sign, while y player is hard". They wouldn't go into detail but...

Raymond Felton is apparently "An easy sign". MJ also seems very confident in him as a player and to get the extension done from the words he was saying about RF.

Emeka Okafor, well MJ didn't seem at all confident because of the inconsistencies and injuries so its somewhat hard to establish a market for him. He wants to resign him but knows it will be difficult process.

He said the same for Gerald Wallace. But G-Wall is going to opt out if he hasn't already and will test free agent waters. Bernie and MJ seem quite confident on retaining him, but are a bit worried on the cost of Gerald.

The draft and Al Horford.

They're also have been talks about trading up in the draft. What I heard was they would package both picks in order to snatch Al Horford but are a bit worried he'd be gone at four assuming Atlanta picks Mike Conley Jr.
They probably talked about Horford for atleast thirty minutes.

If they stay in the draft, there VERY HIGH on Javarris Crittenton. They would love to snatch him at #22 but are afraid he'd be gone. The whole table kept on saying he is "the next Chauncey Billups". He is also a "pure point guard" they said. They all agreed R.F. is the future but would love to have Crittenton at #22. (From what I gathered, they don't seem to confident in retaining Brevin Knight from the talks of Javarris.)

Didn't hear too much from Sam Vincent but he acts like a class act while the rest we're cursing up a storm and smoking cigars and what not.

I'm a huge Magic so I was a bit bummed when I heard you guys might make a run at Darko.

Sorry if it is a bit scattered. I'm going from what I heard and saw with my own eyes.

Hope you enjoy it!
