Default On the clock part 2

Gasol, Cook, Jason Smith, Belinelli, Fernandez, Marcus Williams....

That's the predicament I am in right now. I almost had Stucky in my grasp, as well as Splitter, but they got swiped.

My move is on getting Gasol; I know we "drafted" Brandan Wright @ 8 but you can never have too many big men....yet the international talent is intriguing at the 2 spot.

    Thoughts?

You gotta go with the shooting guard here, from that list I would choose Belinelli, but Morris Almond would be my choice here honestly.

Unfortunately Almond was picked @ 18 by the Warriors....THE WARRIORS!

dont get suckered in Bump... take Marc Gasol... if brandon wright truly isnt ready to play yet you got some insurance.

two highly touted big men in one draft.... it would be great... have faith in Adam Morrison, Carroll, Hermann and if all else fails... trade for a SG. youll have plenty of young big talent to use as trade bait.

I'd go with the best talent left, even if it was another SF. I think we will address our SG needs via free agency.

get rudy fernandez!!! get him! we need a slasher to open our shooters and honestly, we don't have any at the 2 spot. only crash provides us with that.

belinelli is also shooter and honestly, we have lots of those.

In this spot, I wouldn't completely draft for need, I would go with Gasol, he is what looks to be the BPA from that short list.

Though, we do need some more scoring and that makes Bellinelli and Marcus very interesting.

My choice is definitely Rudy Fernandez. But I love shooting big man, so Jason Smith should be also among my candidates, but we already have Primoz. I talked about Belinelli too much in the other threads, I never want him. And I don't think that Marc Gasol would be as good as half of his brother. Cook and Williams are decent scorers. If still available(which is unlikely imho) I'd go for Fernandez.

Gotta go with Marcus Williams especially if we are looking at a big at the 8 spot so take a playmaking combo guard in Williams is my choice.

I ended up going with Mustachio and Defense on picking Marc Gasol on this one. Tough choice, but after hearing about the trade for Mcmay to get Nachbar and the 17...it sounded like an excellent choice as we could use those guys to trade up to get Young, Stuckey, or Crittenton.
