Default Bobcats rejected another offer by Suns for #8

    http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_ar..._for_8th_pick/

The Suns' pursuit of Charlotte's No. 8 pick, where Phoenix would have grabbed Florida power forward Joakim Noah, crashed before the draft started when the Bobcats told the Suns they had a better offer. Phoenix threw options at Charlotte, one with its No. 24 pick and the 2008 Atlanta pick that it owns, and another more convoluted one involving Kurt Thomas.

"We made a great offer," Suns General Manager Steve Kerr said. "It definitely surprised us (to be turned down)."

Charlotte acquired Jason Richardson and draftee Jermareo Davidson from Golden State for the eighth pick, North Carolina's Brandan Wright.
Would you pick that offer or Richardson offer? Although Atlanta pick is very interesting, I'd do Richardson deal just as we did.

J-rich all day. i love kerr, but that isnt that suprising to pass up two decent draft picks, for one proven player.

The J-Rich deal easily if I'm not mistaken the ATL pick is not guranteed to be in the lotto.

Yeah it sounds more and more like Stoudamire was not going to actually happen.

Wow, 2 first rounders in weaker drafts as well as Kurt Thomas as a salary dump. I like Richardson.

Definitely would have taken the Richardson deal over that.

I think what he was saying was that the pick isn't garunteed to be any better than the pick we had... The Hawks could go on a run next year and not even be in the lotto... give me J-Rich all day over that.

Now that they have Horford and Law to go with Joe Johnson, Josh Smith and all those other players...could be a dark horse.

I'd take JRich over that trade for sure.
