I also hope his rehab goes well, I just don't have faith in him actually following through. Nothing has indicated otherwise. When he was injured his rookie year he actually did a lot of good things for the community and seems to be a smart guy. Sean needs to stop only making headlines of him involved with parties, and not act like he's still in college. I/we will all stop poking at him and respect him when he actually puts his team first instead of himself. I like Sean, and think he's really intelligent, but I think he needs to grow up a little bit, especially on the team.

P.S. No need for the anger man. You're usually a pretty cheerful dude regardless of the situation. Everything cool in J. Martin land?

Being a Tarheel, Sean will always be among the pantheon of All Time Tarheels for his run to the '05 championship, but that doesn't give him carte blanche to piss away his potential and his team's potential even more so, without the fans voicing their warranted displeasure and skepticism. Sean knows what he needs to do to turn his career around, and still soaking up the limelight from what he did as a collegian 2 seasons ago, and being satisified being Mr. North Carolina Nightlife, and gladhanding fans that come up to him as if he were running for mayor isn't what he needs to do! Sean is a hell of a nice guy, but that's no excuse for making his job secondary to his mingling with friends/fans.

Also, if players were to read this board, I think it'd do Sean good to see how he is viewed by Bobcats fans who expect more out of their players than simply being a jovial soul. I can't speak for everyone, but I think we're so harsh on Sean because we really want to see him succeed.
