Default Is anybody here their own boss?

If so I'd love to hear how that experience has been for you and how you were able to get to that point. What are some of the pluses/minuses and pitfalls. I'd imagine that health insurance is one of the biggest issues.

I've been contemplating making a move like that for quite a while... but its pretty nerve wracking knowing that if you don't produce then you and your family don't eat.

I chickened out. I'm going to try to work for "Corporate America" for a few more years and save some money and pay some bills before I jump in 100% and give it a try.
Its something that I think about all of the time though.

I agree with ya man. I'm young and in college but working 50 hours a week and seeing how big business works I think I have the developmental skills as well as the business mind to be successful. I'm going to stick in the corporate world, try to get some business/management classes and see where it takes me.

Ziggy, we'll start our own business and be our own bosses
