    Default Handicapping the Eastern Conference

TrueHoop gathered several bloggers, insiders and reporters to handicap the Eastern Conference now that the Garnett is wearing Celtic green.

    Its a good read

one thing that I would like to add is if Adam can get his game together and have a strong year, it will shut a ton of people up. He was the punchline in multiple cases when other writers discussed Charlotte.

I'd agree with most of their pics. I don't see us getting in this year either. I do hope that Ammo has a break out year so everybody will shut up yelling about trading him. I mean IF we were to injury free we'd make the playoffs but I just don't see it happening. I hope it does but it never has, why would our luck change this year. In order to counteract the injuries we need more depth. Herrman played great at the end of the season when we were playing against teams that were going to the playoffs and resting their best players. Felton still needs to find his shot, as does Ammo. May needs to play the season, not a third of it, not half of it but the whole freaking season. J-rich is going to have to adapt to a new system. Crash is going to have to stop diving after loose balls and going head first into the steps. Oak50 needs everybody around him to do what I just said. If all that happens then we'll have a playoff year. The odds of even 2 of those things happening are at best 25%. Get ready for the lottery again. I hate it but it's true.

    I like this Quote:

Charlotte has too many good players to be bad forever, and Gerald Wallace, Jason Richardson, and Raymond Felton are three of the best perimeter players in the conference.

I still hope and believe we're going to be in it for a playoff spot, and I predict a Toronto type year, and we'll make between the 6th-8th seed.

Only question I have doubts on in the article. That being "Jason Kidd is in his prime". Wait, you mean the 34 year old Jason Kidd? Are you guys basing it off of age or how he produced last year?

    Also, on this page: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/s...ndup-EastPower

Everyone has Charlotte as being a sleeper. Only bad thing is they mention "they're a solid pick, if Sean May can stay healthy." God help us.

Too many questions for the teams they even have as locks. I see no reason why los Bobcats can't make the playoffs. Health will play a big factor for us, no doubt, but then what team can withstand any significant injury and succeed? There is no one in the east I fear, so I fully expect us to make a playoff run!

We are going to make it no doubt. Unless, injuries start to pile up again, especially, on our key players. Injuries always seems to be a problem with this team.
