You know may be he just had a bad year last yrar. He might be a good solid back up for the next four to five years if he dont get to pricey. He really needs a solid year. After thinking about what we got we might be better off just signing D.A. then make a move or two next year.

    Thanks Ammofan!

The war actually wasn't about being in the Eastern Block. A lot of countries in the Block, like Poland or Romania weren't affected by the war.

I was a child at that time, but I can remember how all those people suffered since Turkey had very close ties with Balkan countries. There was a massive war in the middle of 90's, Serbians attacked Bosnia and Croatia and all the world only watched that genocide. Old Yugoslavian countries had been involved in the war like Slovenia(but not affected too much) and thousands of people have escaped to safer countries. That was a pure atrocity and violence, thank God it's now finished.

The escapers included a lot of basketball players as well. Serbian players have generally immigrated to Greece. Greece accepted them as citizens. Did you know that Peja Stojakovic was one of those migraters and he actually had the name Stojakovic-Kinis ? He couldn't play in 2004 Athens Olympic Games, because he was called for mandatory military duties and at the moment he had stepped on Greece, he'd be arrested and kept as soldier. Or Marko Jaric-Latsis ? Radoslav Nesterovic-Makris? All of them had escaped from their countries and adopted Greek citizenship.

I think Primoz is a good center, but I think last year it was almost like he had other things on his mind. OK I get things on my mind at times that effect my performance weather at work or in regular life so I think lets hold our thoughts on him until we see what he is going to be like this season.

Tam, I realize that not all Eastern Bloc countries were involved in the Balkan War (infact few, if any were, see next parenthetical), however, I made a broad and erronious (since Yugoslavia wasn't actually Eastern Bloc). I profusely apologize for the slight.

Yugoslavia had been a Communist country in the past, especially under Tito, however they had never been considered as an Eastern Block country. That's true. And no need to apologize, we aren't in a History examination
