Default Raymond Felton: The #5 PG in the Eastern conference

The Miami Sun-Sentinel gives their rating of the Eastern conference point guards. They rated Ray at #5. To me, that seems about right, Thoughts?

Too high. Miller and Hinrich are better right now, and TJ Ford is at least as good...def. a better shooter last year.

    I'd say 7th or 8th.

Too high. He belongs at 8th - spectre is right - Miller, Hinrich, and Ford all are better at this point. Considering Felton's age, I think there's a good chance he's move up the list in the coming years, but for this next season, I would prefer to have any of the guys in front of him.

Good points Spectra . I would have Hinrich at four, I like Felton better than Miller ,Ford, Or even Williams so i guess five is about right being optomistic. Some where between 5 and 8 depending on the year.

I agree with you right now, but ask me my opinion again around mid season and it will be different.

    Jason Kidd.
    Chauncey Billups.
    Gilbert Arenas.
    Kirk Hinrich.
    T.J. Ford.
    Mo Williams.
    Raymond Felton.
    Andre Miller.
    Jason Williams.
    Stephon Marbury.
    Daniel Gibson
    Jamaal Tinsley.
    Jameer Nelson.
    Tyronn Lue/Speedy Claxton
    Rajon Rondo.

That's more of my list. Kidd is far and away the best point guard in the league, Billups just knows how to get the team to win and is clutch, Arenas would be higher if he could distribute better and make his team better, Hinrich is a very good player, just not great at any one thing, Mo Williams is good just shoots too much and hasn't proven he can win games with his team, Felton hasn't made his teammates too much better and the shooting sucks. The rest is history

Andre Miller could rise up to top 4 when he plays his best, but is getting older.

That's not quite true. He's the quintessential Wade stopper.

Hopefully he will be 3 by next year

    Jason Kidd
    Gilbert Arenas
    Chauncy Billups
    Kirt Hinrich
    Raymond Felton
    Andre Miller
    T.J. Ford
    Mo Williams (overrated)
    Jameer Nelson
    Daniel Gibson
    Stephon Marbury
Jason Williams (why else would you stoop to Smush)
Rajon Rondo (new players boost stats)
    Jamaal Tinsley
    Speedy Claxton
