OMG this is so STUPID! why does he hafta have ANOTHER surgery?? he's sooo good when he's healthy...but thats only like 1/4 of the time!!

Varejao is a virtual lock to be purchased now i think. We have nothing at the PF spot as far as prototypical PFs go... and hes the best candidate out there. He also plays with heart and commitment so he would at least fit in to the philosophy. As much as i cant stand him in Cleveland id be willing to work through it. especially if he cut that hair.

either that or as Vincent says... gerald wallace is gonna be gettin some serious minutes in the 4 spot

but then gerald says... he doesnt wanna play the 4 but will if it helps the team. which i didnt realize he doesnt like the 4.. but i guess the 3 is a more glamorous role. this sucks.

Notice that Higgins talks about replacing him within the org., and mentions the young bigs "Emeka (Okafor), Jermareo (Davidson), Ryan (Hollins) and Walter (Herrmann)" having to step up.
Vincent says how he wants to bring in someone, but seems to hint that management won't go for it.
However, a few of the guys interviewed seem to believe that Hollins is the guy to take the spot.
It will be interesting to see what happens. I too am not a fan of Flopsy (Varejao), and I really don't see him being brought in by the 'Cats, but I'd probably eventually learn to cope with it if it did happen.

It sucks that we had to wait to find this out in the first week of training camp. I still don't understand why they didn't have his knee looked at 2 months ago.
