Welcome to the board! He was just being talked about in the game thread. CJ seems to play with heart which is always a good thing. I don't know who we'd take off the roster to make room for him though.
Im new to the site.. was wondering if the young PG CJ Watson has shown any flashes and if it looks like he will make the 15 man roster. He had a lot of potential in college and I always thought he could be a solid back up PG in the NBA... I haven't seen any practices or pre-season games so I was just looking for other opinions.
Thanks

Unless the Coach knows something we all dont, I am more impressed with him than McInnis. It surprises me, but it is true.
with 15 total players on the roster (12 active for game day). i'd rather have young guys on the inactive list then veterans who won't have much to do with the team. i hope cj and a couple other younger guys get a shot at making the team.
is that the kid from tennessee?
if so i like him as a good back up point... he is solid if unspectacular but runs the team from what i remember
Yeah. He started all four years at Tennessee and is one of their all time assists leaders. I think he could make a solid back-up to Felton if given the opportunity.
I'm not a very big McInnis fan and I hope CJ gets some minutes in the final pre-season games.
The way I count it, they will have to cut someone in order to keep him. Which stinks to me....Wish we could cut Harrington....![]()
......Go Bobcats!!!!! !!!..
WE SHOULD CUT HIM! (to make room for a roster spot)Originally Posted by davcbow

welcome joe!
Watson really doesn't have a shot, and it's due to no free roster slots rather than any slight on him.
If anyone has even an outside shot it'd have to be the big Watkins.

Spectre: With the way Jermareo is playing and the fact that Othello is apparently going to play not going to retire, I am not so sure that Watkins may not be destined for Developemental League and the CJ may actuallly get the spotOriginally Posted by spectre
