Preseason: Charlotte Bobcats at Phoenix Suns

Bonnell article mentioned we picked up the options on Ray and May during the summer, so they are both guaranteed big money for 08-09 season. We will have to stick with Ray to see if he can play thru this and overcome the mental aspect which is killing his game. He cannot hit the broad side of a barn right now.

How can you guys lose faith in Felton after the preseason? He doesn't have all his weapons on the floor so he's not distributing like he normally will be doing.

J-rich was on fire though, 9-18 and 5-11 from 3 land. Not too shabby.

I'm still in a rotten mood over Ammo, but I figure I'll comment anyway:

I agree with Bumpus, JRich had a fine shooting game (I'll take 50% from anybody anyday), so I don't agree with y'all who implied that he had an off night shooting.

On the other hand, I don't agree with Bumpus about Raymond's preseason. We've played what, 7 games, and he hasn't had a decent one yet that I'm aware of (I could be wrong here though, as I'm not looking at any boxscores from first few games). He's had most of his weapons on the floor, and even so, he can still make better than 30% of his shots. I still think Phil can get through to him, but he is NOT, unlike his highschool days at Latta, a scoring PG. He was iffy, but would come through in the clutch for the Heels, but he really is not good at anything when it comes to scoring, be it finishing at the hoop, consistently knocking down FTs or 3s, no mid-range game. I do agree with alot of y'all, it is mental, but that's something only he can work through, and he hasn't found a way yet.

Really good production from Walter and Primoz and Mek, which was a breath of fresh air.

I'll take JRich shooting 50% from the field ANYDAY...and 45% from 3 (esp. with the volume) is outstanding!!!

Felton shot a good % in the 2nd half...and you guys realize he's playing on a hurt ankle right? Only 1 TO too.

Crash and JRich combined had ELEVEN TOs...OMG OMG OMG we're doomed!

They should just not air/audio these preseason games at all and not have a boxscore; fans freak out way too much.

Felton had a good second half , He might have been like the rest of us about Ammo. The game befor he shot 5 for 8 13 pts in 22 mins and four assist . not bad . Once real games start Felton is too competive to just quit. Why worrie so much about him . Its like worring about Ok50 he starts slow ever year. Or J- Rich we know what thease guys can do. How many 10 plus assist have you saw Felton have . He will be fine PANIC IS THE WORD its just preseason. The players are having truble learning to gel in the new systen . But i saw more hustle in this last game and a lot more positives than any other game so we might be starting to get on the right track .Biggest thing Coach is starting to lose his man love for Hollins, That might alow Fabio or Primoz to fill the starting roles.
