I agree to a point Davidson should be in the rothtion and Dudley should start. That kid can ball rebound and has energy

Guys, I'm sorry if some of you disagree. I'll respect any and all differing opinions. However, Oak was bad last night. Hollins was more inept than I expected, and Primoz played only a few (6) minutes. Bottom line is 0 pts from anyone playing the Center position. Nothing! Watching Hollins miss layups and even dunks from right there at the basket made me more angry than watching our FG% plummet.
I know Jermareo is not strong enough to play the 5. But he has a very nice 10-15 foot jumper, he seems pretty quick to come and help on the inside and get a block (huge wingspan on that guy) and he is willing to crash in there and go after rebounds - something others seem afraid to do or either incapable of doing.
We need to play Jermareo at the 4 and let Okafor play the 5. Jermareo has earned the playing time more than the other guys, and he seems to be bringing more to the table than Walter Herrmann so far. Sit Hollins and Primoz for a while and let Jermareo learn as he goes along.
I love our 2 rookies! To me, Jermareo and Dudley bring a fire, attitude and intensity which this team needs. Notice in the Sun's game, Dudley was intense and seemed pumped up every time he'd go inside for a drive and get fouled. He WANTS it, bad! Jermareo wants to get rebounds, and his long wing span is helpful in that respect. Plus, he looks to help on Defense and always seems to be in position for rebounds or to block a shot.
I think these 2 rookies can help pump up our main guys. Heck, if they pump us up just watching on TV, they have to have that kind of effect on their teammates, don't they?
Just my 2 cents. Supporting or opposing views welcomed.

How would you fit Dudley in the starting lineup? Move Gerald to the 4? Dudley is too small for the 4, but could play the 3. How would you do it?
after last nights pathetic attempt at basketball... ill be pissed off if the starting lineup doesnt go something like this.
McInnis, Jrich, Crash(reluctantly), Davidson, Okafor.
Davidson didnt have a superstar player guarding him and it was usually a smaller guy, but still the kid needs to start cause Hermann looked god awful. and Primoz well....

That would be my starting lineup. And the first time I could, I'd have Dudley in as well.
It's been 3 games so let's not make a lot of conclusions about the season just yet. Davidson and Hollins should be getting more looks than Primoz right now. But to put anything else on them in terms of expectations is way too early.

Davidson should absolutely start over Hermann and any other PF option we might have though.
Hermann should be used to spell Crash and thats it. If Walter cant play any better than that against Brian Marks or whoever the hell that was and Skinner... then he doesnt need to be anywhere near PF.
I think I read somewhere that Coach said there would be so specific starting lineup over the first few weeks. He wanted to let that develope. Did anyone else read that? If I did not imagine that, then I would think he very well might shake things up a bit and give the younger guys a chance to prove themselves - and improve themselves as well.
I'm not quite understanding what's going down with Herrman, I figured the way he exploded at the end of last year he'd big a big big part of the bench this season, but the minutes he got in the pre-season and what he's shown thusfar has me a bit disappointed. Maybe it's a rhythm thing, he got more minutes towards the end last year and lit it up, did Vincent make a wrong move by slowing down his development this year or was Walter's play at the end of last year a fluke? I mean I'm sure it'll get better and there were moments when he was spot on and hustled quite a bit. I'm getting a little worried but it's only one game. Plus I hate watching the Suns play because more so than any team I watch they get every foul called in their favor.... makes me so mad my eyes turn green and the incredible hulk tattoo I have starts flexing and attempting to leap off my arm.
It could be that the style Coach wants to play isn't conducive to what Hermann (or Carroll) can do. If that's the case then make a move while the value is high.
I'd try and give Hermann a chance to make some moves to the basket. He seems to be able to do that. We've only got one other player on our team right now that's effective in that aspect of the game (Wallace). For a team that was supposed to run and bang the hoop we haven't done a lot of that yet. We should be literally taking the Suns playbook and using it. We have basically the poor man's version of their roster. Turn it into a track out there.
I'm not a big fan of letting things develop during the regular season. The games count. That's what practice and preseason is for.
