    Default Early season team stats

Early season team stats some confirm my thoughts on Primoz play.

Feltons feild goal percentage is much better this year. As well as his scoring .

Wallace is not geting the feild goal percentage or the points i think he could.

Rich is off to a very bad start . Shooting and feild goal percentage.

    Carroll is earnng his money.
Play or trade Fabio for a big .Hes to good to sit.
Hollins seems to be ready to be in the rotation. And could start over Primoz bad play.

    Dudley earning mins

Davidson needs mins . Play or trade him and Fabio.

Mcinnis is solid as a back up point . But geting to much burn . That burn should go to Hollins, Dudley , Davidson and Herrmann.

With a little more solid play from Wallace and Rich we should be in for a + .500 ball this year .

Your thoughts on the players and stats.

I think J-rich will get back to the form that made people jump on his bandwagon during the first couple of games where he unloaded tons of points. I think he'll get back on track against the Heat as Ricky Davis was lit up when Richardson had his best game of the year and carried us to victory.

I agree, GW should be averaging 20 or so PPG (and I think he will be the end of the year). Like I stated on Keetch's "has anyone noticed" thread, I think he's best suited for being our leading scorer this year because of the multiple dimensions of his game.

Except for his goose-egg against Phoenix, Mek is having a monster start to the season. RPG and BPG are looking great, as well as FG%. If he FT% were even respectable, his PPG would be 18 or so.

Also, Raymond's shooting is looking fantastic across the board, and I'm not worried about his APG; if the guys can't make their shots, or get fouled before they can dunk it, it's not his fault.

DA, Walter, and Primoz have been trainwrecks thus far especially with their shooting.

My theory on why Primoz is starting is because he can be allowed to pick up some cheap fouls early, so that we'll have better replacements who won't be in foul trouble come off the bench.

    The scenario is this:

Would you rather have Primoz pick up 2 or 3 early fouls and have Hollins and/or Davidson come in for him and be able to play significant minutes, or

Would you rather have Hollins start, pick up 2 or 3 early fouls and have to play Primoz significant minutes over the course of the game.

Even though it is an evil, I think Sam is choosing the lesser of the two by starting Primoz.

i'd better not play primoz at all. you need five men on the floor to play not four.

I have to agree with Beagle on that one as nither player is starter material yet. Hollins mins do need to be increased and so does Davidsons. Ok50 is geting in to too much late foul; truble and he becones less aggressive.

Rich, and Wallace should both get thair feild goal percentage up. They are both too good to be shooting in the thirtys.

I would like to see a trade involing Fabio, Davidson, Permoz, and mabe a 2nd round draft pic.Frye and Crahlie are not geting much burn for thair teams . Both would be a big assit.

Felton is not a fantsy star so far but his game has inproved . I would rather see 10 assist and ten points. Instead of 18 per game. With 4 assist . But shooting over
45 precent we can't complain at all.

I still see a big being our hold back. If we address the manner the right way we should be a lock for the play offs.

Both Hollins and Primoz are GARBAGE!!! I'm sorry but, we've got to wake up and smell the hot coffee here. They suck. We need to trade these losers. If May wasn't injured, we wouldn't be in this mess. I know everyone Is going to give me the eyebrow after saying this but, i'd rather have Jahadi White back playing for us.

I'd take Jahidi over Primoz 100 out of 100 times. Not Ryan though, hes young athletic and has a lot of upside.

I'm loving what I'm seeing from Felton this year. He's being a lot smarter about his shot selection and not chucking up threes all the time like he was last year. He seems to be more willing to give up a contested lay-up for a scoop pass to the bigs underneath and that's good. His assists are a little low but I think he'll get them up to around 8 by the end of the season. I think a 16 and 8 season with around 45% shooting would be a great season and a great sign of improvement.

definitely. felton didn't shoot well tonight (1-6) but he made plenty of good passes in limited minutes to the size of their lead. he has also been attacking the hoop and getting to the free throw line a fair amount which is definitely a positive sign.
