hollinger is a waste. look at stein's rankings for a more accurate look:

Hollinger did his rankings. Has us 29th out of 30, behind only Chicago. Now, I have some concerns about us, but no way in Hell we are 29th. He has Miami 25th and we beat them 2x so far. I beleive Seattle has won 1x and Warriors still at 0.
I wrote him a comment to submit and told him he was a jackass; but not in those words. Just that he lost all credibility.
If you are enclined, go to ESPN.com and read the segment and e-mail him your thoughts.

Who the fuck is Dominic Mcguire
I saw that earlier today. I was expecting us in the 15-18 range and I look and we're 29th? I'm not if he put us that low because of our SOS or what but those ranking are terrible.Originally Posted by ohara831

dats beat up. the win loss record is more important than all of those stupid stats he comes up with
Hollinger uses a system that screwed us over because of our weak schedule. The only thing that I look at is the W-L and if you look at that we should be about 12 spots higher
Hollinger bases all of his stuff on weird stats that nobody cares about. Those standings mean nothing.
he must referring to another team. either that, or he's BLIND.

Yup whether you win or lose has NO IMPACT on his rating system, it is completely dependant on your scoring margin, the record of your opponents (not you), and home/road games. So those two losses to Philly and PHX are making us look bad.
Strength of schedule is a factor and ours so far is low compared to the others. Its just one system.
