I think we need a SG more so than a big.

We have four healthy bodies when it comes to bigs and DA can't stay healthy.

Earl should be backing up Felts, not playing with him.

    Fixed.

I think we definitely need to upgrade the QUALITY of our bigs, but that ain't happening from what we have to choose from.

    Solid point Spectre.

A defensive SG who was lock down and didn't have the BBIQ of a house brick would be perfect.

Rockets just let go Gerald Green after the trade with Minn the other day. Does anyone want to take a flyer on his potential? He just turned 22 yrs old. He was 18th pick in 2005 1st round by Boston; a G/F. Lots of unmet potential. What if we got him cheap and he starts turning it around. It could be one of those diamonds in the rough that just needed a change of scenary to flourish.

If we could get him it would be nice. I think he is still young and projected to be a STAR . It could be a great pick up at a bargin basement price. Does any one know if he is a locor room cancer or somthing.

    Thanks Ammofan!

I found this at MVN.com sounds to me like they let him go just so they could sign somebody bigger (a bigger body).

    Green cut

On Saturday afternoon, the Rockets let Gerald Green loose. That was pretty quick, huh? This move by the Rockets further justifies the trade that Kevin McHale made at the end of February to dump the dead weight of Green and bring in Kirk Snyder, who has already proved himself to be a more productive player than Green. Snyder is playing more minutes than Green ever saw, and while he lacks the explosiveness at the rim that Gerald possesses, he is a more fundamentally sound basketball player. At least Green got to go home for a little while, right?

Myself i like the kid. He would bring in another highflyer and would fit in our uptempo game style. He could back up G force and Bernie liked him in the draft when he was coming out. Maybe he could be that diamond in the ruff and we could then let Morrison go in a trade in the offseason for an upgraded big.
