I could see the benefits of adding someone like Zach Randolph, but I wouldn't want to add Curry. He has ongoing weight problems and he doesn't rebound well enough for a big man in my opinion.

What do you think it would take to get just Zach?

There's a reason Portland was more than happy to pay out like 30 MILLION DOLLARS to buy out Francis' contract just to get rid of Randolph. There is nothing on that roster I'd take unless they were on the rookie contract (Lee, Balkman, Collins, and to a lesser extent Robinson).

You can compare stats all you want, but none of those guys make a team better; in fact they make a team MUCH worse.

Im with everyone on the knicks trades, curry and randoloph are so damn lazy! while i watched us just wreck the knicks in the first half, thats all i could repeat, man they are so damn lazy

as far as marion opting out, i think we could have a pretty solid lineup and the team might be good enough for him to want to stay

Use the trade machine... that will never work financially nor would the suns be crazy enough to agree with it, barbosa and amare are making a combined 22mill...

Anything can change until the end of season, but if this season ends in this disappointing way, my suggestion is simple:

Pau Gasol for (re-signed)Okafor and Felton

If Okafor signs something between 8 and 12 millions, this trade works.

We get "real" and "clinically proven" low-post scorer. Memphis gets a tough front court in Okafor and Milicic, with also Gay , Miller and Felton(and maybe Conley Jr.) they would have a wonderful starting 5.

We have 4 good starting players(Nazr, Pau, GW, J-Rich), after a high pick we can draft a good PG.

It's a shame we've lost our hopes so early.

'Impatient' Wallace in no rush to break up faltering Griz

Short-term, Wallace said the Griz have no plans to move Gasol, who is often mentioned in trade rumors. Memphis has received calls and standing trade offers for Gasol from at least two teams -- Charlotte and Atlanta -- according to insiders.

I wonder if we really would move Mek (and Felts) for Gasol. During the summer I'd probably have said no...because of Mek, not Felton. Right now I probably would.

We could offer Mek/Felts/Hammer for Gasol/Navarro (I don't think they'd move one without the other). We'd be sorely lacking at the 1 though.

Would they want Hammer since they have Miller?
