Cursed?

Im not being over dramatic here and comparing us to the Cubs or Red Sox or anything but its clear to me that this... aint exactly been a great year for us.


I mean for god sakes...before the season even started we were down two players thought to provide serious minutes this year. Besides Adam Morrison and Sean May going down... it just seems everything that has happened this year has a had an underlying negative tone to it. Even with the very good pick ups in Jason Richardson and Nazr Mohammed, these guys have both started to play like the players we wanted to bring in.. and yet there salary is shown as a negative. It just seems like we cant win in anything this year. To top it off... we thought going into this season that in the close games last year... we could win by finishing. and there fore upgrade our record. This year however it just seems even harder to finish and a lottery pick looming.

So... do you think this season is cursed... and if so what are you gonna call the curse.

Nope I dont think this season is cursed, it is a rookie coach that is drawing at straws instead of having the experience of knowing what to do at the right time. Its injured players, its letting the wrong players go and keeping the wrong ones before the season started. Its teaching a new system with a coach that is learning himself which to me wasnt a very smart thing to do. I think someone else said that the Cats should have hired a vet coach and also V as an assistant for a few years which I think may have been the right thing to do....

I think as fans, and even the players, we had huge expectations this year. We finally had a slew of money to spend, some seasoned players in EO50 and Crash, a kid who looked like our future PG and the thought of a new, up tempo offensive with a new coach.

Then we traded for JRich which made things even better. Couple that with a piss easy schedule to start the season and a lot of us were thinking we would challenge for the Eastern Finals.

When your expectations are that high, the only way is down.

i just wish we had gotten a seasoned coach and a back up point guard that doesn't make me want to vomit swallow it and then vomit it again into a frying pan make some weird contraption eat it and throw it up again (jackass style)
