Very well stated. That was well thought out and well stated, and I agree with your assessment.
I just got done watching one of those MSNBC Investigation shows (No, not that one) about a gentleman in Kentucky who literally got away with murder, and it got me thinking.
Throughout the past week or so there have been several threads posted, and numerous rants about what should happen to our current skipper. It seems that some think he should be sacked immediately, while others think he should be given more time.
My question is at what point, rationally speaking of course, does management sit down with a coach to discuss a change if things aren't working out. Would it be fair to fire a coach halfway through the season. Would it be warranted if the players are completely insurbordinate through said coach? Or does the situation vary from case to case, like with my main man Isiah who is singlehandedly murdering one of the most storied franchises....and getting away with it.
The reason why I'm asking is because I feel guilty about throwing hatornades at Coach Vincent, even though I feel it's atleast partially warranted. In my opinion, and I'm sure I'm echoing some of your own thoughts, is that his chemistry with our players just isn't kosher at this level of basketball. Remember the ESPN360 coverage of the Bobs game a couple of weeks ago against the Magic? That's when I started to get a little worried. I heard Coach Vincent say "good job" and
"ok" about three hundred times in the span of three minutes, but where was the actual coaching at? Doesn't a coach to need to have some sort of authoritative relationship with his players to succeed in the NBA? Or am I just too old school?
Anyways, to make a dumb thread even longer, my vote is that the brass upstairs sit down with Coach Vincent and discuss, how they, together, can right this ship that has gone sour. All in all, it's ultimately their responsibility anyways.

I go back and forth on Vincent in terms of us needing to fire him. I definitely disagree with a lot of what he's done, but he did get a bad hand with May and Morrison going down. As much as people dog on May, most of us and management were expecting him to come back this season and be a legitimate PF.
I also have been saying all along we need to way until the all-star break to really evaluate. While the early returns are in, I'm going to give the guy at least another month before saying we need to fire him.
In the meantime, I'll just make angst filled posts with jokes at his expense.
SOMEONE will pay for THIS!
We didn't have May last year nor was Morrison that big of a factor. Our team has been playing mostly easy games and we have an improved roster... Why did we do so much better last year?
I blame Vincent.
Me too, when a team plays better with less talent under one coach then they hire a new coach, aquire better players, play worse....hummmOriginally Posted by WvsMc

Sure.
I agree that it feels silly to call for a coaches head after 30 games... but it hasnt felt right the entire time. Nothing has worked like it should and theres not one single sign of it getting better. there are no positives right now with Sam Vincent. NO POSITIVES. nothing. the complete void of anything good.
so ... the hatornades..(im stealing that cause its hilarious) will continue to fly.
