    Default Standing offer for Gasol?

    http://www.commercialappeal.com/news...break-up-griz/

Apparently we have a standing offer for Gasol, according to insiders. Atlanta also made an offer. I think they have much more talent to offer than us, but I wonder what we offered for him?

Who the fuck is Dominic Mcguire

Interesting, maybe Okafor, Felton for Gasol, Stodumire. Read on RealGM that Stodumire wants his contract bought out or wants to be traded so I could see him being involved in the trade. I could live with Damon as our starting PG for the rest of the season and then hopefully get a PG in the draft.

I wouldn't do that. Why move away two players with contracts smaller than the two players we would be getting? Especially when the two players we would be getting wouldn't make us that much better. Wouldn't Memphis be better than 8-21 if Gasol was worth what he is paid?

I believe I heard somewhere that we offered Felton, Okafor, Othella and a second rounder for Juan Carlos Navarro, Kyle Lowery and Gasol..........I ACCEPT!!!!!!

even though thats tempting because it gets Othella off the books. that would be the worst trade ever.

we need to just sit down and chill out. take the season as it comes for the rest of the year and deal with it then as far as player aquisition goes.

at the end of the season we have 4 million dollars coming off the books in DA, Jeff, and Othella. thats a positive start to the offseason. Depending on resigning Mek... we could have upwards of 10 million in cap space... in an instant. maybe enough to sign a certain free Agent, Zero.

    Hey,

If you want some more info on Gasol it was in another topic titled "gasol." It has like 28 posts on this topic.
Anyway Gasol is one of my favorite players and I hope we get him. My only problem is trading Okafor because he's a true Bobcat- been with us through our first 3 (losing) seasons, and this year will make 4.
