Racing fans, the moment you've all been waiting for is here. . .
It's NASCAR Night!!!

Highlights:
- Our guys will wear special uniforms covered in sponsor logos
- Okay, I was kidding about the logo part, but they will wear some pretty sweet jerseys and shorts with racing checkers on the sides. The jerseys are available at the team store too!
- Free collectors edition Bobcats diecast car (we used to call them Matchbox cars when I was a kid if that helps anyone) to the first 5,000 through the doors
- Show cars and NASCAR games throughout the Arena
- Oh yeah, and a game against Pau Gasol, Rudy Gay and the high-scoring Griz

Well, I have absolutely zero interest in the NASCAR thing (and I even live a couple miles from bigwig Richard Childress), but I think it's honorable of the organization to attempt to reach out to that fanbase, considering the legacy of the "sport" is rooted in the Carolinas. Hopefully this draws more fans in, which is the most important thing.

I love the NASCAR Night idea. I didn't get to make it to last year's, but I'll be there this year (Barring another storm of course).

NASCAR is monumental in this area, and I think it's smart of Bobcats marketing to try and take advantage of that.

It will be a good game to go watch but Im not interested in NASCAR no more since Nextel or whatever company sponcers it these days took over....

They might as well call it the Hendricks Cup because I dont see noone but a Hendricks team driver winning the races or the championship.....

They have had them in the store for a week or two. They are hideous, but in a fun way. It basically is the same color scheme as the blue alternates with a different font and checkerboard along the sides instead of lots of black and orange on the sides.
