I was really hoping they were going to let JRich get the last shot, just so he could hit the 40 point mark, but who cares, we got a good, and pretty sizeable win, should help our confidence again...
Sweet, beat em by 18! We're back to winning!
Up next.... San Antonio on Monday.

Wallace and Richardson played great. Felton and Okafor had pretty decent games. Just glad we got the win. Now, time to focus on the tough game we have against SA on Monday.
Our big four of Felton Wallace JRich and Okafor can take this team far. Add May next year and we're even better. Nice game Cats.
And Sam...please start Nazr instead of Jeff. Get Mohammed involved early. Thanks, man.
Bobcats Redemption?
The game was pretty great. Lots of sweet dunks and a JRich fest. You could only buy those racing jerseys with his number, so it was fitting that he tore up the court with it on.
It's great to finally beat Memphis and erase that incredible, very odd statistic off the books (one of the last 3 teams never to beat).
On a side note, I think we need (for fun) to have our "Touche plays of the game". I have to say that mine was a fast break in which a pass to Gerald would have resulted in a monster dunk (2 on 1), but instead Touche took a running jumper, missed, got his own rebound and then completely airballed.
Really good predictions from most of y'all (especially Zig with his 25+ for Gerald and JRich!!)
Also, kudos to anybody who braved the elements tonight to go to the game. I saw the listed attendance on the boxscore and was very pleased with the nearly 16K. I thought tonight could be an 11 or 12 night what with the weather and low-profile opponent.
Now, what makes this win so nice is that this is the kind of win a playoff team gets: They are coming off a stinker the night before, playing a bad (in terms of record), beatable team, and they soundly give them a TKO!! Absolutely beautiful!! Like I said last night, this win washes away the debacle last night down into some culvert off of 85. What Hornets game? The cool thing is that we now have a better win percentage now than we did after the Orlando win on Wednesday!
Also, great to see GW and JRich bounce back, and have massive games after the lethargic performance the night before. The numbers are just RIDICULOUS
JR: 38 pts, 14 rebs, 3 blks; GW: 28 pts, 7 rebs, 6 asts, 7(!?!?!?!??!) yes, 7 steals. WOW!!!
Would love to see this game on tape, but, oh well....
Let's keep it rollin', fellas!!!
"The Charlotte Hornets name has been a mainstay throughout the region for many years, and we are excited to announce our intention to re-establish this historic brand. We believe that its return will galvanize our fan base by unifying our loyal Bobcats fans with those who have strong memories of our city's NBA predecessor." MJ, 5-21-13
Sounds like a great game and an excellent response to last night. I was able to follow along while at the NCState-Miami game (excellent game, by the way).
Good to see that we came out to play tonight. Let's roll on... San Antonio's next!
Hasn't the last few games at home been above 14k? We hada sell out one night and I remember another being above 16k.Originally Posted by TheBeagle
