Default I've added a new poll

I've added a new poll to the homepage, blog and forum since those are the 3 busiest areas of the site.
    My poll question is this:
Who should be the starting PG of the Charlotte Bobcats, Jeff, Earl or Ray?

I know that we can add these polls to our forum threads, but only members are able to vote. I'm interested to see how many voters we get on this type of poll since visitors will be allowed to vote also. There have been several voters already since I put it up a couple of hours ago. Oddly no votes for Jeff yet

This particular poll will also serve as a sanity check for me. If we get < 2% saying Jeff should be the starter, then it verifies what my eyes are seeing and I know that I'm not going crazy.

Also, if you have any other poll ideas, let me know.

Ziggy: Your poll allows someone to vote more than once. The results will be skewed.

Nope. My bad. It looks like you can vote more than once, but it is not counting the vote more than once. Never mind.

I dont like the results I am seeing. I have to agree Ray has been better on assists and scoring off the ball, except those beautiful drives (ooo). Boykins all the way.

Matt, Were you expecting a bigger push for Earl?

I love how there are 39 votes, and not one person has voted for Jeff...yet somehow he is our starter.

I don't want Earl because he is a liability and is best served as energy off the bench.

I hate to act like a villain but I voted for McInnis.

Because of timing. If we were to make the votes based on the current situation I say McInnis. Boykins is going to take a few games to get into our system. I don't think he's ready to come off missing training camp, team built chemistry, and half of the season to come back to start. Teams are going to start to sprint for the finish. Finish being the Playoffs. Plus his energy is much needed off the bench.

Also, Felton is battling injury. I think he's been trying too hard this year to make an impression and he's been beating himself up. But with the schedule getting bad with all the Road games and West Coast games coming up he needs to hold back a little bit until his ankle is 100%

McInnis on the season starting: He's been awful when he performs. But with him on the floor it forces the other 4 guys to look to get open shots.

My best friend is a Ball Boy for the Magic and he says that McInnis is very vocal out there. He's constantly yelling to the young guys at the Bobcats last 2 visits to Orlando. He also yelled at the ref telling him to call carrying on Arroyo. Which I thought was really funny but still.

Sam must see him as a play setter, passer and vocal leader. It's not like he's got an Ugly contract or injury prone. He's not THE BEST! But he's not the worst. Just unpopular.

Hell, maybe there is a AWESOME reason why he's out there. Don't blame Sam though.

That was very insightful. Thanks for the inside information. I did not vote for Jeff, but that may explain some of why Sam plays Jeff more than was understood. Thanks!

I see no Matt Carrol option. I understand you forgeting to include him (even though he's the most obvious choice) so lets fix this mistake as soon as possible.

I can tell you, not to come off like an ass, but I sit on the floor for a lot of bobcats games. I hear McInnis talking, and he really isnt saying to much. He is shouting out the play and then when people arent open off the play that they consistently run, called, "one" then he yells at them to move. He dribbles way to much, makes bad decisions, cannot shoot, and is not that great of the passer. Let Boykins get a chance, he will be better then Jeff or Ray. Put Ray at the 2, its where he thrives. He gets tons of assists and points. Its a win win. Boykins has been passing very very well.

do you hear Jeff talking to players after plays? Maybe there's more to it than that. We may never know. But my vote is there as of NOW. Maybe in a few games Earl will get into sync and move to the starting spot. We will see.
