If I recall correctly, Larry Brown hates playing young, inexperienced players. I'm not sure if this team is a good fit for him, though I could be wrong
Well, so many have clammored for the firing of Sam Vincent. I read on ESPN that Larry Brown says he is wanting to get back into coaching. Now, he has some serious baggage, we all know that is true. But, it is undeniable that he is a great teacher. He can teach young players how to be great as a team. That is something that this Bobcat team needs badly!
Just curious. How many of you would consider him as a new Coach for the Bobcats? Or, is there too much baggage for you to feel comfortable. With his NC roots, it may be something MJ considers. You never know.

I'd consider it, but ultimately we need someone for the long-term, or at least, longer-term than what LB would provide. That said, it's all about Vincent for the rest of the year; I'm not sailing him out to sea just yet....
"The Charlotte Hornets name has been a mainstay throughout the region for many years, and we are excited to announce our intention to re-establish this historic brand. We believe that its return will galvanize our fan base by unifying our loyal Bobcats fans with those who have strong memories of our city's NBA predecessor." MJ, 5-21-13
Yes! Sam can be an assistant.

Neither will MJ I don't think since they are friends and didn't he hand pick Vincent this past offseason?Originally Posted by TheBeagle

anyone. Vincent has obviously been over his head. I respect the man for trying, but it was too early. He should have been an assistant for a while longer. He has broken down and has basically gone with what weve been demanding now the lineup of ray jrich gerald (well dudley last night) mek and nazr. He hasnt handled himself well and now we all hate him, I dont know what the players think, but it seems like they have a lot of trouble with him. Once youve lost respect, its really hard to gain in back...
I dont know if Larry Brown is the answer. But we certainly have a better team with harder workers then the joke knicks and I think he could pull more wins.
Really who I want to see step up and coach is MJ. He would be probably the best motivator ever. Demanding the best, just like Ohara talked about in another thread, and pushing the team to its peak.
Id love to see him coach but would he? Has there ever been a owner that coached in the NBA?
......Go Bobcats!!!!! !!!..
no idea if its even allowed... but either way, it may be a bad idea. He has no (very little) experience coaching, and like Vincent none on this level.

Ummm, I'm missing something here. We are talking about Larry Brown. I am unsure of what you mean about "very little experience" as a Coach. Can you tell me, or did you think we were speaking of someone else?
look a few posts above... I was talking about MJ
Larry is the polar opposite of inexperienced
