    Default End the streak

This has been a frustrating stretch for everyone, but I'm glad to see there's still passion here on the Planet. Anyone think tomorrow night's game is unwinnable (is that even a word?)? I think we may have found our way a little bit last night - we never let the Lakers get comfortable, and anytime you're playing shorthanded and they have Kobe/Gasol/Odom on the floor when the buzzer sounds you know you gave a pretty solid effort.

Having said that, everyone is tired of moral victories so let's go out there tomorrow night and put one in the win column.

    Bring a friend - it's a 2 for 1 in the upper bowl ($20 or more seats).

Should be a fun shootout between Joe Johnson and JRich. They bring a pretty athletic group with Marvin Williams, Josh Smith and Al Horford, but I think we matchup well at other spots on the floor (point, post).

Let's end this streak and start the A-S Break the right way.

Every game is winnable, I just can't envision the Cats beating the Hawks with their system, the coach, and without Crash, but I could be wrong, about the Crash part that is

I'm just hoping for a competitive game.

Definitely not unwinnable. I hope the Cats give the Hawks hell.

Michael, I appreciate your enthusiasm b, I won't pay to see another game as long as Sam Vincent is the coach. The guy is horrible; I think he has lost the team(you can try to argue that), I know he lost the fans( you can't argue that).

Michael Hiesley traded Pau Gasol because of the fans- Bob/MJ need to fire Sam and send his ass back to the D-League. I would have rather kept Jemarrio and sent Sam back down for some development last month.

MJ has done a fantastic job with player decision and swung and missed bad on the coach.

    Just my .02

Sorry Michael but this team has begun to show a terrible tendency to take nights off - big time. Its called quitting.

The NBA is extremely high-priced entertainment with extremely overpaid talent. For those suckers to not show up in this fashion shows the epitome of disrespect for the fans.

At my job, I'm paid many many times less; and I always show up.

A good start would be to fire the coach.

I didnt want to go last night because I couldn't stand to sit in traffic, pay for parking, then have some kid kicking me in the shins the whole game and then watch my team mail it in and the coach throw it away. I just can't make myself sit there through that. I might go see Atlanta because it will be much less crowded, but seriously it's tough at this point. The only thing I keep thinking is I'll miss it when they are on the long road trips, but will I really?

I absolutely hear and understand the frustration you're sharing with me. I'm glad you are. If you weren't frustrated right now you wouldn't be true fans.

And I hear what you're saying about the team mailing it in. Without question, this has not been our best ever stretch of basketball.

But I'll leave you with one quote from last night's postgame remarks by Phil Jackson:

"They are a tenacious team. They keep coming back at you and they find a way to play."

Maybe I'm too new and naive and haven't been jaded yet by this franchise's past performance, but I'm not ready to give up yet. Come on out tomorrow night. Bring someone who hasn't been to a game this season, and let's make one last push to the All-Star Break.

Not giving up, just hard to watch right now. But if they didnt win a game all year with the highest payroll in sports... id still be a fan.

Michael you should print out Keetch's quote and show it to the team of how "we the fans" feel right now.....I totally agree with Keetch and Im the one that used to tell everybody to give it a chance. Alright we have done that and it just gets worse and worse. We need a real coach....

Agreed. I always try to be positive with this team, because they always seemed to find a way to give their best. There's a disconnect in there somewhere now. It's the same players, and I know they have it in them to play well. I love watching them play, and I find it hard to miss a game, but it's getting easier.

Michael, as a fan, who has talked the big talk about this team to his friends for years now, always emphasizing that win or lose these guys put on a good show and play their heart out, why would I want to bring a not-as-yet fan to a game to watch the team contradict me? It makes more sense to wait until they've righted themselves, then maybe this friend would see what I've been seeing.

(Also, Charlotte's a good 2.5 hrs away, but that's a problem more specific to folks like myself and a few others here.)

Still, I'd love to see any game I can, and if I lived in Charlotte I would certainly take advantage of the offers that the organization has made. However, it's going to take more than cheap tickets to keep the fans attending. Clearly, that fix is not something that you personally can make happen. And you can't guarantee that the team will play well tomorrow, though I hope they do. But, you can be our voice to Misters Johnson and Jordan.

The Fans are disgruntled. Now is the basketball season of our discontent.
