Of coarse SV should be fired. I felt MJ should have sat down with SV before the season started and given him a goal that must be reached in order to avoid being dismissed. If that goal was not reached by seasons end then Vincent should be fired. My thinking is that this season was seen as a throw away season due to SV being a rookie head coach and player injuries. I feel that is a huge mistake on the part of the front office execs. What SV should have known from the beginning of the season is that this team needed to show steady improvement for him to keep his job after the season. It seems as though Sam Vincent knows his job is safe this year and is letting his arrogance get in the way of seeing that his style of coaching at this point is not working. It is almost as if SV feels that he is above reproach and if he keeps forcing his coaching style down the players throats they will somehow catch on and start winning.
Well, here we are with only a month and a half left to the season and he still isn't having the kind of results he feels he should have. I am sure by the way Jordan and staff are looking at him they use stupid examples like the five game winning streak and the team having a couple wins over teams over 500 as reasons to keep him. That and AmMo and SMay being hurt all year. They will ignore all the bad that has taken place for this team and look at a couple small accomplishments as some kind of sign that SV will be better next year. That instead of seeing what has really taken place this year. MJ is looking as much like a noose around the neck of this team as SV has become!!!!!
