Jeezus. That is nauseating to find out that the play was for Raymond. WTF!!! There's no doubt in my mind that Jeff has more sense than Vincent. The incompetence of this guy knows no bounds!!!!! MUTINY!!!!Originally Posted by MattD

I wouldn't say that we make Sam Vincent a scape goat for all our losses but let's not kid ourselves this man has not gotten near the kind of production out of these players that a sub par coach in Bernie Bickerstaff did. Bernie had his players playing hard nearly every game and seemed to respond to his players and their abilities and what worked as the season progressed. I have seen very little hope on this team growing and working in a successful system. Sam Vincent is too set on his ways and is not flexible enough. A good example of a coach who learns how to change and grow is Houston coach Rick Adelman. For a time it looked like Adelman may have lost his touch but the Rockets are taking off as of late and I believe that is the result of a coach who listens to his players and studies the game and learns by trail through fire. A flexible coach is a successful one.Originally Posted by amour217
I will end this by saying that though Sam Vincent is not responsible for every loss he is responsible for blowing quite a few games with dumb logic and he does not seem to have the respect of the players. Bernie Bickerstaff is no HOF coach but he at least had players that responded to him and genuinely wanted to win for him and each other. I see players who only play hard for half or a little more than half a game when it seems they have no confidence in Sam Vincent. Last year the Bobcats played close and competed nearly every game night. The result of that was a strong second half of the season and obvious continuity among the players and coaches. I almost would like to have seen how the momentum of last year would have carried over with Bernie at head coach. He may have cost us some games with bone headed decisions but he also may have been responsible for some wins by being a coach the players liked and respected. I rarely see anything resembling a light hearted moment between coach and players on the bench. Notice the one thing beyond X's and 0's that winning teams have? It is chemistry among coaches and team mates. This team lacks chemistry as much as anything else.
Well I have vented enough and really probably won't have much else to add on this subject. I just hope the Bobcats get a Super Star in the draft and they dump the coach as well as any other garbage holding this team back.
