Default Panthers about to resign Moose

    http://www.charlotte.com/panthers/story/511014.html

Been hearing this for a while hopefully we can get it done we all know how great of a chemistry Moose and Jake had in the past I just hope we can sign him for cheap.

That'd be a good move for us. Hopefully, he'll push Jarrett and eventually that kid will take over.

Good move! Signed him to a 2 yr deal, and I am sure for not too much money. This takes pressure off us having to Draft a WR as he can play the slot #3 receiver IF Jarrett can take over the #2 WR. If Jarrett is still running behind, then Moose can play the #2 and Jarrett the #3 slot receiver as needed.

Moose will mentor DJ like Keyshawn would have done if he stayed and Smitty will continue to do so for Ryne Robinson.

I think Ryne's got promise too. I wish we hadn't cut ties with Key. I don't really get why we let him loose. It obviously helped us last season. In any case, it seems we learned our lesson by re-signing moose. Good for us.

Great move, I think moose was better (and quiter) than Keyshawn anyway. I know he will be 35 when the season starts, but he can give us a good blocker and slot receiver, basically playing the role of Ricky Phoehl while we groom someone. Also he had great chemistry with jake, and is MUCH better than Carter or Colbert.
