Beasley is such a treat to watch. I've seen him like 5X this yr. Only once did he have a subpar game. had like 14 pts and 10 brds or something close to that. If you have not seen him much, watch how he seems to be where the ball is on rebounds - very reminiscent of Dennis Rodman. And when he works inside with the ball, watch how he always manages to get within 3 ft of the rim and make it an "easy" shot. Kid plays big, and will be a great #4 in the NBA.

I hope I am not jinxing him for tonight vs Kansas.

Bill Walker is the one who has self control issues - a real hot head. Beasley has matured a lot this yr from his HS days. He'll overcome the slow start and still have a good game - watch and see.

I agree ohara831. The last K-State game I watched Walker went something like 0-12 and fouled out and was steamed the whole game and couldn't keep focus for more than 2 secs.

Beasley has matured in the last 2 months already. He's not nearly the prick on court that he was at the start of the season.

See his last basket? They TRIPPLE team him on the block and he STILL scores with ease!!

The other night when they played Texas and came up just short, they had a guy on the sidelines hold his hand up to Beasley's. It looked almost 2x as big. You're right about the size of his hand, which allows him to manuever the ball easily with one hand, and especially helps him rebounding. He really is fun to watch.

His feet too. Check out the kids wheels. They are huge!!

He palms the ball like it's a marble.

I'm getting WAY too excited about him!! No way would we ever be lucky enough to jag the overall #1 and land him.

He has that "swagger" we could really use too. I think you mentioned on the page before, his ability to get close to the rim and score is awesome. The sift touch, the finger rolls, the length. Pure scorer who's game will 100% transfer to the pro's.

17 to go in the 2nd and this is where his maturity comes into question.

He's playing like he doesn't care now and like he's content to give up.

39 pts and 11 rebs. This on a night when he got no help from Bill Walker and they were playing one of the best teams in the game. And there is no question of Arthur vs Beasley. 39 pts to just 10. The man is so far above everyone else.

Several of the talking heads on TV are saying Tyler H will get the Player of the Year, but Beasley is by far a more dynamic player. Now, how can they say that, as it does not make sense to me. Tyler is a good college player, but also on a much better team. And if you admit Beasley is the better player, how does he not get your vote for POY? Well, it really doesn't make a hill of beans. When it comes to the Draft and the NBA, I think Beasley goes quite a bit ahead of Tyler, no matter who got the POY trophy.

I agree ohara. KState is a God awful team. Stick Beasley on a team like Texas who has a real PG like DJ and a shooter like AJ and he would be unstoppable because teams couldn't tripple team him.

Imagine all the looks he would get Swish, Felts, Crash and EO50 on our roster!!!
