Granted this is one highlight, but we need a guard who will distribute to Crash, J and the bigs not take shots from them. He looks like a less springy version of J.

How good is this kid? Is he good enough to displace Ray as our PG of the future? Is he good enough to pass on a big man like Hibbert or even Beasley. Is he the next great PG or is he just the next college superstar to become an ordinary pro.
Tell me what you think about him.

I personally would love a PG that can distribute the ball or score himself when he has too. This Rose kid can score alot too but would his defence be there? This video clip is college but you can tell the potentual is there.![]()
......Go Bobcats!!!!! !!!..
I cuncur, we need a distributer of a PG. Any assist high-light clips?
I think that's going to be harder to come by than most people think. If you look around the league most of the "pass first" guys are usually limited in other areas; there's only a small handful of the exceptional ones and they're hard to come by.Originally Posted by Muttley
Still, if someone like Rose or Mayo can be more reliable in scoring that would still be an upgrade to what we have.

I see a lot of Wade's game in his game more so than the Kidd comparison I've been hearing I think he'll be a great 2 guard on the next level.

The experts say he is going to be a slightly better version of CP3. Now that is saying alot, and may be expecting too much. But he will be better for us than Ray by the end of yr 1.
That said, if we have the #1 pick, we'll be taking Beasley. Ray can suffice at PG, but we don't have a #4 who can come close to cleaning the dog poop off of Beasley's shoes.
Rose will have to work on his jumper like Paul did if he expects to be in his league that's probably his biggest weakness right now.

Rose is NOTHING like Paul.
