Paul was largely the same player in college as he is now. He is a rare blend of pass first but has a nose for scoring. I see Rose as a 76's Iverson or just plain 2 guard. Of which I think J-rich will be better for our future. We are at the point where we need the majority of our players as vet contributors not rookie prospects. Consider this, do we want FHB developing a top 5 draft pick at point guard or a 4 or 5?

Rose is more likt Baron Davis meets Dwayne Wade.

He's not a thing like Chris Paul now and wont ever be.

I agree with Slam about Rose. But even with the 2nd or 3rd pick i don't think i would still take him . Our need is at P/F or center So i would try and trade down and try to land a good big and a decent p/g . Somthing like a Hibbert or a Thabet not spelled right. and a Lawson late first.

To each it's own but I think he has WAY to much potential to pass up on not to mention if we did take Rose, I'd love to see a little friendly competition between him and Felts let them battle it out which would bring out the best in both man.

Billups, maybe even a bit of Kidd in him because he's a good rebounder and very good at getting his team involved.

Let me be the first to say that after watching the game against Texas, that Rose is the real deal and will be a definite all star. If there was any way to trade up to get him, I would. Any other year he'd be #1....if they win the championship I'd even consider him over Beasley.

Talk about a test of ability. Let's see how he does against UCLA next weekend. Talk about some good Guard play that weekend - WOW! It's going to be fun. ALL the top PG's are playing.

Apart from the 1st five mins, I didn't get to see the Memphis Vs Texas game. I'll watch it later this week.

Of course, in the 1st five mins Rose had two really nice drives and finger rolls along with an athletic twisting drive and soared so high for two rebounds that I thought he was going to hit his head on the ceiling!!

He really seems to be coming into his own the longer the NCAA season lasts.
