I'm worried that pretty much all of the centers available for this draft are greatly overvalued...Hibbert, Thabeet, Jordan...3 teams are going to make mistakes picking these guys. Jordan especially needs to stay in school. He seems to have no clue what to do on a basketball court, other than run up and down between the baskets.

I'd prefer we keep what we have and take someone who has the athleticism to be or become a more solid NBA player. After Beasley and Rose, I'm not sure who that is though. Right now the only guys on my radar are Eric Gordon, Nic Batum, Blake Griffin or maybe even Darrell Arthur.

Really though after the first 2, this draft isn't going to help the Bobcats much, unless they can land a solid PF. That would be Griffin, Arthur, or even Lopez (I guess).

a further note: I neglected that their are an abundance of good Point Guards in this draft. It wouldn't hurt us to pick a quality backup for Felton. Lawson or Bayless would be pretty nice. Augustin too. Just so our esteemed coach can figure out a rotation that doesn't diss Felton again.

Larry Brown wouldn't play a rookie so many minutes over Felton.

True story I fell off the drafting Hasheem Thabeet bandwagon when I watched him get hunged on a WIDE open dunk attempt. With that said I'm obviously not on Hibbert's bandwagon either but, a positive to taking him would be that we would have a bigger body (Roy is like 270 pounds) on the squad that atleast has a remote chance of stopping Dwight Howard from getting whatever he wants against us when we play Orlando 2 or 3 times a year.

If you are looking at a abig, no one is mentioning the big man from Stanford, Brook Lopez. He is listed as a Top 5. I would love him to be paired with Okafor.

nbadraft.com moved Lopez up to 3rd pick by the Grizz. That's a leap from where he was previously (I think around 7th or so).

I haven't seen much of him, but from what I hear, he seems like a guy that would be an asset on the team.

Hibbert is the most complete prospect at Center in the draft, no doubt.

No, he's not terribly athletic or quick, but few people his size are. He's smart enough though where he won't have to rely on quickness to get him back in position etc.

His positives far outweigh his negatives.

Offensively he has great footwork, can score off either shoulder in the post, has good form on a jumper that could become strong, and is a great passer for his size, even out of double teams.

Defensively he knows how to get position on his man, he's a good help defender/weakside blocker, and rarely gets beaten offensively.

He looks to be a fair rebounder, I haven't really seen him have monster rebounding games, but he's got good footwork so all he'll need is some work with a coach at his size.

As far as his flaws, the major thing seems to be how he'll be quiet offensively. I don't know though if it's a testament to the Princeton offense, where the ball is shared equally, or a flaw within him. We'll probably see very early in his career.

Overrall, he projects to be a borderline all-star at best, and at worst a good rotation big.

I think as far as College is concerned, the best and most complete Center is Love from UCLA. But I think he plays a PF at the NBA level.

Love makes Hibbert look like a race horse getting up and down the court.

Love REALLY needs to work on his conditioning.
