Sorry for my language. I have just never experienced such incredible lack of heart in my life. NEVER. I can see no better reason or better time for a good old time ass-whooping coach firing.

Knowing you to be the respectable person that you are, I've got to say your use of language speaks volumes.

I turned the game off midway through the third. I was bored and just had a feeling it was going to end in disaster.

I'm not sure what has to happen for us to remotely salvage this season. After that loss, I'm not remotely thinking about playoffs anymore.

I guess I'll watch some of the NBA training camp, aka the NCAA tournament. Hopefully, we'll land a great lottery pick, fire Sam Vincent, and speak the bulk of the off season running around passing the ball on a court with no baskets. Except, there'd be one special rim where Okafor just dunked over and over and again while guys from Singapore beat him with fraternity paddles.

    SOMEONE will pay for THIS!

    Hiya Dnbman.

I'm reduced to either cursing or crying. It's come to that. So I'm cursing. It's kind of rough to see the competitive fire go out. But that's what happened tonite.

The season ended on a downer; without even a bother to try.

I apologize; but I feel like I witnessed a coach quit on his team tonite at the most paramount point of the season for them. When it absolutely mattered most; he quit.

There is nothing positive to say at the moment. Jeez, I better just go to bed :P

Holy cow!! I told on myself last night, I must do so again tonight. Although I did watch the first half (and was happy with JD and DA), I was unimpressed by the uninspired play, the lack of focus, the lack of inteligence, the lack of basic fundamentals of rebounding, defense, etc. that we displayed in the first half, even with a 5 point lead, I switched it over to ESPN and watched the absolutely FANTASTIC Black Magic documentary series. I was so enthralled by the stories about Earl "The Pearl", Willis Reed, Bob Love, the SC State "massacre", Al Attles, Bobby Dandridge, etc, etc, etc., that I didn't even bother to switch over and catch the score. All I can say from the last two nights of watching scant Bobcats action is......it's a whole lot less stressful, judging from y'all poor, loyal souls that watched that garbage. I've earned a hell of a lot of respect for you guys!!!

What does this say about me that my reaction to seeing the final score was a vague surprise mixed with a morbid sense of humor? There is no disappointment or anger at all. I don't know, maybe it's a defense mechanism. Maybe it's because I've watched 24 minutes of Bobcats basketball the last two games without much interest. Maybe it's like I said in the Cleveland thread, I've got the March Madness, and the NBA is secondary for the next few weeks. Whatever the reason, I hate it for you guys. Screw the Bobcats; you guys are getting paid shit to pull for this team with blood, sweat and tears. In fact those of us who attend games have to PAY to see these guys, who get there paychecks all fine and dandy whether they stink up the joint or not. You guys are the backbone of this team, and y'all are the reason I'm even posting this, and have posted for close to a year now. Y'all and I deserve better than we've gotten this year, and like has been said, this is the absolute nadir of the season; getting pasted by a hapless, clueless, moderately-talented group of guys who are playing in front of an NBDL-esque crowd on a regular basis, and who are obviously in a rebuilding mode, and those jokers lose by 18 points? Absolutley no excuse! I don't give a damn what they said postgame, there was no excuse for this.

One thing I can guarantee: the television may be on at home, but it won't have a Bobcats game on at any time.

Heh, I had dreams of plane crashes last night - I'm talking stealth fighters crashing into jetliners over NYC?? Too much Hillary/Obama on the TV? Too much Iraq? oops no I watched the Bobcats last night.

It just seems that this team never really believed they were in a playoff chase. There was no will to win.

And then the coach sits his starters to teach a lesson I suppose; during a must-win game. That's the most absurd basketball strategy I've ever witnessed.

If the Bobcats have anything; with guys like Okafor, Wallace, JRich and Felton, its that these guys are pros; and they should be treated as pros; win or lose.

I felt I saw a Coach giving up, but I also felt like several of the players gave up. I saw way too much apathy on the Court. Again, I call for major changes - from the Coaching staff down to many players. New people, new attitude, and new chemistry. I keep, Crash, J-Rich, Dudley, and Ray. All others are expendable assets to be kept or dealt depending upon the offers. And if the price is right, I'd be willing to part with any of the 4 named above - IF the price was right.
