    Default Okafor for Jamison

Oakfor through sign and trade for Jamison sign and trade. Would you do it . I think i would and i think both players would do it.

We have more experiance and a solid line up.
    Felton,
    Rich,
    Wallace,
    Jamison,
    Nazz.
We draft the best center left , Hibbert ,Lopez, Love. Tabet .
With our 2nd round pick we steal a scoring combo guard .
    [ Stephan Curry]
This along with Dudley ,Carroll,May and Morrison , Holins and Davidson Should about finish out our roster.
OMG I love the starting five with a very solid and scoring beanch.
Would you do it Okafor for Jamison
Your thoughts or the team and the line up.

    Thanks Ammofan!

Kind of similar to my draft Mayo thought, so yeah...I'd definitely consider it.  Instead of taking a big however I'm more inclined to agressively go after Diop in FA and take BPA in the draft (and hope Mayo falls to us).

    Would WAS want Mek?

I'd do it but I'd want a little extra in return considering the age difference.... Okafor has yet to hit his peak (I think he refuses to play up to his ability here) and Im not sure what Jamison will have left. What could the Wiz add in to sweeten the deal?

I like that call dav7z. I dont think Mek wants to be here and if what youve said about Jamison wanting to come home is true sounds like a excellant deal to me.....

I think if we take Jamison, we go BPA, possibly targeting Mayo. Nazr is good enough to start for now, and all of those bigs are questionable. I'd rather trade one of our wings for another C than waste a draft pick on a guy that has a strong possibility of not panning out.

frankly, I dont think Stephen Curry will be good in the NBA.

Secondly, no way washington would do that unless Jamison flat out tells them he wont resign with them otherwise and they get no value for losing him. Ernie Grunfield is really really a good GM.

I think Jrich plays a better game at SF then at SG, and I have begun to question the effectiveness of Crash and Jrich together. Maybe another coach could figure it out, but it seems Jrich is better with another sniper on the floor with him. Draft Eric Gordon and figure out something for Wallace, probably a trade, maybe looking for a semi-legit center.

    Say we go

    Ray
    Gordon
    Rich
    Jamison
Decent Center we acquire thanks to Gerald

Theres a lot of flexibility in what I just said, and maybe our pick isnt high enough for Gordon. Really, we dont know right now.

But yeah, to swap Okafor for Jamison, I'd be a happy camper.

    Would washington, probably not.

This is a very very optimistic trade proposal. I'd do it in a heartbeat. But does Ernie Grunfeld?
Wizards already have a center who does little on the offensive end, and does dirty jobs in the defense in Haywood. Why would they want to acquire another one?

They'll probably lose Arenas this summer, so they can't afford to lose 2 of their 3 stars at the same time. They'll do their best to keep Jamison. And if they try, they would keep him.

Dave, I know very well that you're very interested in Jamison, since you've personally talked to him about this subject. You've opened a lot of topics about Jamison. But I suppose you're too high on Jamison thing. IMHO, that hometown thing is valid for 36 years old half retired players who don't have energy to play more than 15 minutes per game. But Jamison can still do a lot even for a contender team, he doesn't have to go to a team who sees no light at the end of the tunnel in order to see playing time. Just saying that this is sooooo unlikely and don't be disappointed unless it happens.

Also, it's not so common in NBA to trade and a signed player for another signed player (I mean S&T for S&T is unlikely).

Pretty true. Strangely, Jamison's accountant could have prayed for a better situation that what happened to Jamison's season-- leading a fairly successful team with the "super star" on the mend and the other key star often out hurt. Jamison showed he can still be an amazing contributor, if not the centerpiece of a team.

Tamb in this case i hope you missed the boat . But with Arenas leaving and the age of Jamison the Wizzards might be better off doing a sign and trade . At least that way they get somthing of value for him . If we renounce Okafors contract we could offer Jamison a nice size contract anyway. That plus Jamison wanting to play at home makes me think it's not far fetched at all. A sign and trade helps both sides.
If we landed Jamison that takes care of the p/f problem so i think taking the BPA should work. Mayo would be a nice addition to the team . Adding to our core makes more sence to me than trying to trade it for a bunch of unproven rookies.
Adding a banger with that second pick would make a lot of sence to me all so .Tyler , H if hes not gone. Mays bangs good to . Or we could try another project player mabe the 7.7 center from UNC ,Ashville . His conditioning is bad but he might be good 20 mins a game,

    Thanks Ammofan!
