I've seen Griffin about 6 times. One of those times was when he hurt his knee against Kansas - which made me very sad because I wanted to see him and Authur go at it.

The kid is an ox and super strong. Fights hard, great body, awesome 2nd effort (especially on the offensive boards and his own misses), good ball IQ and has some handles.

He played against Beasley and had 8 offensive boards (14 total) to go along with 27pts.

So long as his knee is ok, I think he is the real deal.

Comparison: Boozer (with less range) meets Horford (power)

Best Fit: Bobcats ( ), Bulls, Grizzles, Nets

I'm reading up on him, and from what you say, I'm definitely high on this guy. I'd love to add him to the mix, and grab a Diop or keep Nazr at the 5...then Sign and trade Okafor.

Most of the ESPN lottery machine mocks have us taking either he or randolph. This definitely changed the shape of the draft.

I saw today that it is official he is out. Damn shame. I really think he would have been great for us.

I do look forward to him totally dominating the NCAA next season though!

Pity this time next year, we will be in the playoffs and Blake will be out of our drafting range!!

Talk is that scouts and people are tryng to talk him into entering Draft. Seems that the talk is that he would be the #3 pick after Beasley and Rose, ahead of Brook Lopez. Not much use hanging around a yr in college to make yourself go possibly 1-2 slots higher in the draft. Too much risk of injury that would end your career. He would be gone before we got to him, unless ping pong ball magic occurs, but him in the draft just increases out chances of someone else we want falling to us.

I'd love to have Blake Griffin on the team....otherwise like ohara says, if he does enter someone else will be available that wouldn't have been before.

Do you have any links ohara? I'd LOVE it if he was in the draft this year and was really supirsed when DX was so confident that he was staying at school,

He's by far the 2nd best PF in this years draft class.
