So, I just finished chomping down on my hot pocket and reading Bonnell's preview for tonight's game against the Raptors and I had a quick thought. Feel free to disagree, but at least think about it.

What if: We had never traded Brandan Wright? How would we look in the next year or so?

Reasoning: I understand why we need to win now, go to the playoffs now, and score now. But Wright would have filled that gap between Crash and Okafor. Here is a long, athletic forward who can score and swat shots. Yes, J-Rich can make it rain on occasion, but this is a team that can't stop perimeter forwards (Bosh, Jamison, Garnett (to some degree)) and would really benefit from being able to stick Wright on them.

Hindsight is always 20/20, but I think it could have been an interesting future with Wright, especially knowing what a steal Dudley was.

Yea yea, we have Jermareo, but I doubt Ham Biscuit will ever give him the burn he needs to mature (a lotto pick, more likely to get burn)...

If it's all a crazy idea, I'm sorry, but I'm bored out of my frickin mind...
