For Charlotte, no doubt Beasley is the man. He is the PF slot filled to perfection for us. For some teams who have a PF but need a PG, they would go with Rose. Miami could go either way, but many feel they are leaning towards Rose.
This is something new we can do....I will post a thread for lets say,....the Top 10-15 picks. You guys can be the "GM" of the Bobcats and tell everyone who you would select at pick#__...Get it? Pretty Simple...
With Pick #1 in the 2008 NBA Draft I would select Michael Beasley. I think he would be the obvious choice for our team since we lack a scoring big man. Beasley would fit in GREAT with Okafor(If we resign him), and most likely will get us into the playoffs!

It's gotta be Beasley. We need a PF so bad. With him taking care of the offense, Emeka could just focus on being the defensive presence in the middle.
Basically what I was about to post to be honest.Originally Posted by Muttley

It is not likely we get a pick high enough to get Beasley. The most likely PF available to us who we would have to take would be Kevin Love. He isn't all that bad. The Draft site that I like that ranks players by position is http://www.draftexpress.com.
On Draft Express they have Kevin Love ranked as the second best PF. Michael Beasley may be quite a bit better but if we have no chance at him the next best bet would probably be to take a talent like Kevin Love. I watched him play a few times and he is not chopped liver.
For many teams Derrick Rose would be a very worthy first pick, but for the CATS I agree it has to be ..
MICHAEL BEASLEY
Bobcats Redemption?
I'm still praying to the Ping Pong Gods on a daily basis, fasting and meditating in the nude outside in my backyard at 3:00 am. I am convinced that by taking this one for the team, the Balls will drop favorably for us. If not, I'm not going to be a very happy camper!
Everyday, at 3pm, somewhere in SC, some neighbors are not happy campers...
Just kidding OHara, I'm sure the neighbors are all about it. You keep doing what you do. With any luck, your meditations will come to fruition with a great bounty of basketball talent and potential (and the PF we need so badly).
when exactly will the balls drop this offseason?
