    Default Bulls beat the Raps

This means our lotto position is locked at #8.

Now we just have to hope for some luck and a jump up to the top 3 or even top 5 after the balls drop.

Yeah. I was happy to see that score when I got home. The best we can do is finish in the top 3. Due to a failsafe in the lottery, there's no possible way we can get 4-7. Those spots are reserved for the teams that would be bumped down a notch because of us (or god forbid a team behind us) moving up into the top 3. Basically, if on Lotto Night, our name isn't called at #8, we're assured a top 3 pick! At least I'm pretty sure that's how it goes...

We have 1.9% chance for top pick and 72.5% chance for the 8th spot.

There are two tiebreakers needed this year, which are critical, Memphis vs. Minnesota for 2nd most chances and New York vs. Clippers for 4th chances. Actually the latter is more critical, since anyway Memphis and Miami have almost same amount of balls and both of them will very likely be in top 3 and luck will determine their places. But the latter will probably define 4th and 5th places.

Former 8th picks include (since 1990) Brian Grant, Vin Baker, Larry Hughes, Chris Wilcox and Rudy Gay.

Andre Miller, Jamal Crawford, TJ Ford to name a few more.

By the way, in 1976 the Golden State Warriors selected Robert Parish with the 8th pick. Just sayin...

Yes, my odds were wrong, sorry for that. The real odds are as Big Slam posted.

Can you imagine if the 8th pick comes and goes and our name isn't called? That would mean a lock for Beasley, Rose or Mayo.

    I would poo.

You're giving me chills, man... I'd probably have to clean some kind of bio-waste out of my pants too.

You never know man I could be mistaken but didn't Portland have a 31 or 32 win record when they landed that #1 spot?
