The basis of the plan is that we would have a contingency that involves, at the very least, succession management in case Buzz Kill sucks arse again next season - which will inevitably happen.
If things stay as they are and Buzz blows, we have no one to step in and take over. Bringing Brown in now under the guise of an assistant gives us a safety net.
