In a dream world, the Bobcats would hire the best candidate for the job. I don't really know who that is, however, so I just hope that they use their basketball knowledge to hire the right coach.
Either of Brown or Silas seems like a great idea to me. So long as the next coach has experience and can command the players.
One thing of note that I really like from the article is, in addition to the quote Eaton gave, is when Silas said the following:
In two or three sentences he sums up all the reasons that Sam Vincent is no longer coach of the Charlotte Bobcats and why he would be a better choice for the job."They need to be in a system. I have a system offensively that has proven to work."
It does seem inevitable that Larry Brown will be the next Head Coach (and he's my pick too, for what it's worth), but there are certainly other candidates, Silas especially, that at the very least would not be a poor choice.
