he said he was in the dunk contest for money first off. Plus yeah hes got an attitude, something the bobcats need. He has fire something the bobcats need. He is so explosive, and he is a pretty good finisher (anyone at the bobcats game this year when he did a windmill layup jumping on the baseline from one edge of the backboard to the other) he could be the monster that we need.

The only thing i begin to question is whether we would rather have a more scoring oriented 5 paired with him rather then him and okafor, because neither have really refined post games, that means that we are faced with maybe 20-25ppg from 2/3rds of our starting frontcourt

If we're looking at defensive minded power forwards off of the Bull's roster, then the man to try to swing a deal for is Joakim Noah. He is a Larry Brown type of guy

And yes I did give Noah hell last year prior to the draft, but I severely misjudged his ability to make a difference at the NBA level.

That was my thought and only concern too Matt. Ideally we'd get a PF who has a great offensive post game who would get us easy buckets when we need one. In saying that I remember reading that TT says he has an offensive game but he didn't need to show it in LSU because they had Big Baby for that sort of stuff. He does have a mid range J, so if EO50 can continue his evolution as a post scorer, maybe they would fit?

Remember - when ever EO50 got shots, he usually provided results (although he REALLY needs to get his ft % up around 70 to really be effective).

And I agree with everything else you wrote - he might come across as a bit of a prick and over the top, but as a team we lack that and it would be a welcome change.

And yes Ziggy, I'd happily have Noah, but I doubt the Bulls would give him up. I think they would be more likely to give up TT.

TT could be a late bloomer, think more along the lines of a more skilled Tyson Chandler. (What is it with Chicago and athletic big men?)

I think Boozer really answers all of our problems, I think we should do EVERYTHING to try and get him short of Jswish and yeah I guess Okafor has to stay too.

Seriously though, Okafor and Boozer would be so sick together.

His "attitude" exhibits petulance (just ask the Bulls coaching staff) and not the sort of Chris Paul "attitude" that you want out of a player. Lack of fire has never been a problem for the Cats...maybe slightly so this season, but it was obvious it stemmed from the pall cast by Vincent. And heck, Ryan Hollins is explosive around the rim too.

Eh, I just don't like the guy, and I'm thankful he'll never be on our team, otherwise I'd "boo" his ass mercilessly.

I'm not really sure I would want another low-post player that doesn't have a for sure, consistent low-post offensive game. If he develops and scores in the paint consistently then that's great, but why take the risk when we have a pretty good chance at drafting Kevin Love or Anthony Randolph?

i tend to lean this way also. Is Tyrus Thomas that much of a better option than Love? Defensively id have to say hell yes. but i think in the search for a guy that can guard anywhere inside the 3pt line like Tyrus, we may lose the post defender.

    Is this:
    Ray / Jrich / Crash / Love / Oak

    that much better than this:

Ray / Jrich / Crash / TT / Oak? assuming we dont have to give one of those up to get TT. because in my opinion theres no way the bulls take Ammo for TT. not in a million years.

Yeah, I don't any reason why the Bulls would trade TT for Ammo. In my opinion, I think the Bulls would trade Gooden before they traded TT.
