Heres the link to that story

Way to go, Ty! You start to solidify your place in the 1st round, then go out and do something stupid. When you are on the verge of getting a nice NBA contract, dont sit in a car playing loud music while you are drunk!!!
I hope you dont go in the 1st round. As a matter of fact, I hope you stay around until - oh, say pick #38! Then, I'll forgive you - you big dummy.
Edit: It is a DWI. Damn, I'm named after him on the Planet. I'm gonna have to do more to work my way up to another starter!!

ohara your last sentence confused me i thought for a sec felton got tagged and was about to cry
i really cannot understand why people still drink and drive holy shit...its not that hard to find a ride, shit i would gladly give ty lawson a ride home as long as he paid me part of his rookie contract
He actually got charged with drinking after driving b/c he is not 21 yet. He was below the legal limit, but was popped b/c he was under 21. He likely had ONE drink and drove.
He's about to get drafted and sign a very nice Contract to play a great game. Underage and want to drink? Go home, and drink all you want. Just stay home so the cops wont have to worry with you. Please.
So you know, I'm not saying he wasn't wrong. He was. However, your report is misleading. They didn't charge him with DWI b/c he was below the legal limit. His crime was the fact that he did this 5 months before he turned 21. If he were 21, there is no driving after drinking charge. That said, again, he is responsible for his actions and he has to know to be on his Ps and Qs and not take any chances on anything.
oh yea my friend got one of those, blew a .04 but is only 17 hhaha dumbass, but yea at least lawson wasn't shitfaced and driving, ill give him that
Bhahahahahahahahaha
Could be good news for us. Perhaps he decides to stay in the draft and his stock slides to us in the 2nd round OR he decides to come back to UNC for another year with my beloved Tar Heels and pick up a national title. If either scenario happens I will be happy. I do feel for Ty, but his dumb mistake could be our gain.
On another note I just realized I am at the beach now, what the hell am I doing posting now? I guess I am just another sports nerd like us here on bobcats planet, I guess I will enjoy the rest of my time on the atlantic ocean sipping on cocktails.
