Canada is calling your name brother!!
Nice article. Looking forward to learning more about the other posters.
Never knew why they call it "priming", but it's just picking the leaves. Since it's usually done when it's very hot and you're out there all day bent over...they should just call it "hell".
Hmmm, I see a deal coming on. My place...Bobcats' weekend...your place...death on the high slopes.

Rats. I was off with my family and parents on Father's Day and then watching the US Open. If still ongoin, Spectre, I have a question. What sources do you consider the most reliable when you are researching the game of a certain player you may consider in a Trade for Charlotte or in the Draft?
this is pretty cool, and is a nice way to find out more about other members, hopefully everyone will get a turn eventually...
I'm not quite sure I know what you're asking. First thing I do is check Draft Express for the player's salary and length of contract once an idea pops in my head. I usually have an idea what assets I would or wouldn't give up for said player, so then I head over to the one of the trade checkers (assuming there's no BYC or anything...then I have to do it by hand) and see if I can get it to work.
I then run it by Big Slam...if it passes his test then I usually put it in here and/or on the trade board. Course we've been beating this around for so long we kind of know what the other will think.
If you're talking stats, basketballreference.com is pretty awesome. Oh, and I almost always go to that player's RealGM board (might need to go back multiple pages) and get what they're feeling about that player too.
I agree. Very good Q&A that gave "spectre" personality, but avoided being too personal. I think the sequence should be longest tenured members, which would be the least convoluted, I think. I smell our founding father, Ziggy coming up next....![]()
